  2. Great job guys. Some real pretty fish there. You guys are turning into trout junkies. Next thing you will be in breathable waders with top of the line centerpins chasing steelhead up and down the rivers.
  3. Nice steelhead !
  4. All these "new" advances in braided line...... I dont know why I even read or listen to anybody. After years of trying every new braid out there I have come to the conclusion that Power Pro is the best braid hands down. End of story.
  5. Nice fish Moosebunk. Those smallies look amazing. Its too bad that fall could not last longer.
  6. Sorry to hear the bad news.
  7. Dont worry, soon enough you will catching those bullets in no time.
  8. So when are we going fishing ?
  9. Nice , those look very cool. Im sure they will work on any water with smallies. Thanks for the info
  10. Nice eyes ! Not you Randy
  11. Looks like you really love your trout fishing. Congrats on an amazing season. We appreciate your report and pictures. Thanks for sharing.

  13. I had a friend ask me today if I knew any reputable musky guides in the kawartha area. Hes looking to suprise his son for his birthday. Any suggestions. Thanks, Mike
  14. A wise steelheader once told me.... " Its not about how many fish you catch, but how good you look doing it "
  15. Awsome report with some big fish and great pics
  16. Hmmmm, I dont know Geoff. I just dont know ?
  17. I would say medicine balls or rugby balls ! Great fish Chong !
  18. Try hitting points and rocky shorelines. Drive around the lake and hit every point that sticks out. Use jerk baits and spinnerbaits and work them fast and irratic. Keep a tube jig or a grub rod handy and ready to throw back at the fish that follow. Always watch behind and under your lure for followers.
  19. This is a great book. Im not a fly guy but this is an amazing book about Great Lakes steelhead. Most definetly worth the purchase.
  20. Great work out there. Tis the season for the donkeys.
  21. As usual, some really nice bass and quality pictures. You have a gem of a lake there.
  22. My July went just like yours. 20 fish days ( largies ) were the norm but nothing over 4 pounds. August we started to see some bigger bites. It looks like you did very well during August on those quality smallies. Great photos of the Haliburton scenery. Thanks for the report.
  23. In my opinion this is not true. Coho roe has a different colour and has a totally different smell. It will outfish chinook roe any day of the week. The problem is that its a bit harder to get than chinook roe. Mike, if your ever near T.O. send a pm and I can hook you up with enough roe to get you through a season.
  24. you could play football with those puppies ! very nice smallies
  25. Nice one Bill !
