  1. Keep your head up. Sorry to hear the bad news.
  2. Heres mine from this winter and a couple from years past.
  3. The wife booked a camping trip to Bon Echo Provincial park for mid August. I think its on Mazinaw Lake north of Kingston. Anybody been there ? How was your experience ? Was also wondering about the fishing. I will do a bit more research but I thought I would check here first.
  4. Hey Kickingfrog, Nice collection. Have you caught anything on that giant Knuckle Head ? Im sure it would be a big one.
  5. Im still recovering from back surgery. Oct. 28 2010. I have been doing a great Pysiotherapy program since Dec./2010 I went for 2 years with a bulging disc L4-L5. Could hardly feel my right leg and sleeping was terrible. Finaly got the surgery, in at 11am and out the door by 9pm with a handfull of the good stuff. It was the best decision ever. I saw a surgeon at Toronto Western Hospital. Dr. Rampersaud. A stand up guy and he has a great reputation. Good luck. Its not as scary as it seems.
  6. Im surprised that nobody has mentioned the fact that we are allowed 2 lines per angler in the big lake.

  11. Im not talking about getting rid of my fishing partner....... Just wondering if anyone has any recomendations on a product that can remove the nasty film that has encrusted itself at the waterline of my boat. A pressure washer and elbow grease just wont cut it. Thanks for the imput.
  12. Nice steelies. I was wondering what happened to your posts. It looks very cold out there!
  13. Before listening to this guy please check the regulations as to where you can and cannot fish.
  14. I have heard mixed reviews about Aikmans. I have had over 6 reels fixed and serviced as well as a trolling motor seviced there. Great service and my reels are as good as new. You wil not get one day service. It usually takes about 1-2 weeks. Approx. price will be about $20- $30.
  15. I have to agree with Smally21 on the reel. I think that if you are looking for a primary spinning rod that will meet most of your needs, I would suggest going with a Medium/Heavy action rod. Use 15# braid and you can use this set up for everything....grubs, tubes, bucktail jigs, senkos even jerk baits. All rod manufacturers have what your looking for. You have to go and check em out for yourself and see how they feel in your hands.Good luck
  16. Nice fat, clean pike. That was cool watching it hit the bait.
