  1. I received a Gopro for Christmas but after trying to do all the set up, I have decided to return it. Way too much hassle. Cant get a decent app for my Blackberry. cant download the program on my Pc at home. I thought that it would be much more user friendly. It doesn't even have a screen. If somebody has any tips or suggestions that may change my mind, it would be greatly appreciated. It is a toy that I would love to have on the boat for next season

  10. Cool thread guys. My daughters now 14 and 12 used to love scaping roe off the skein. They used to be great helpers. Now they have both decided to become succesfull vegetatrians ( vegans actually ) " insert comment from SINKER here " My 7 yr boy however loves to bonk the fishies and loves a good feed of perch. He also loves stomping on gobies
  11. Thanks for all you replies and reccommendations guys. Qoute " - With either brand you get, expect to have to purchase another chip if you fish inland lakes. The chips that come with both of the units only contain information on Navigabl;e waters. Meaning, it covers most of the larger bodies of water that have Bouy's in them. You will need to by Hotmaps for other areas " Im mainly fishing North and East of the Kawarthas. I guess I will have to purchase another chip for the inland lakes. I didnt realize that the chip that comes with the unit did not cover the areas I fish. Any recommendations for a chip ? Are some more detailed that others ? Pretty expensive stuff. The cost keeps climbing

  21. X 2 . I have been running STIHL saws for about 16 years now. MS 361 is a great all around saw but might be a little big for what you need it for. 260 is a perfect size and can still hanldle larger dia. trees if you know what you are doing. A little more than you want to spend but it will last a lifetime. STIHL is a bit more user freindly. easy to take apart, clean and service. Parts are readily available

  25. Now now Bill. Be nice Why is fishing for salmon any different than fishing for steelhead ? I mean come on, how hard is it to catch a fish that returns to the same river every year ? Not much of a challenge in my opinion. Good times anyway Well done to the O.P. Nice report and pictures !
