Not too sure where you can get a key cut but a quick suggestion.
When I purchased my boat about 8 years ago the seller told me to duct tape the extra key under the console.
Sure enough a couple of years later we got to the launch ( 2.5 hrs from my house ) I realized that I had misplaced the key.
I reached up under the console and peeled back the duct tape to find my extra key.
Problem solved ! Saved my a$$ that day
Im having a crappy season so far.
Almost every day that I had to go fishing it was bluebird skies , no wind.
Getting sunburnt fishing spring walleye and pike sucks.
Not ideal conditions for any species.
Looks like a great time. Thanks for posting
Quick question.......
How do you like the rapala rain suit that you are wearing? Saw it in the store and was thinking of purchasing one
Thanks
thanks for the kind words guys
I gave him my senko rod to use as that was the only spinning rod that I brought with me. I was throwing the jig all weekend. Needless to say that the bass really wanted the senko.
He has really learned patience and he will listen to me when I say " check your line, if you feel anything set the hook "
He got his PB all by himself about 4 lbs.
wacky rigs do work well but , yes you will lose lots of baits even with the o- ring. You have much less casting distance and it does not skip as well. I use 2 rods for senkos. One wacky and one texas. I save all my used up texas baits and put them on the wacky rig after.
Thin tieble titanium leaders or 50- 100 pound flouro will take care of the problem. I also believe that the barrel swivel creates the front hooks to tangle. I find some of the newer style of suspending jerk baits tangle more due to the side to side action.
Nice fish for your buddy ! Not to highjack your thread , but my buddy ( WeedLine from the board here ) caught this beauty 54" ski from an inland lake. his PB musky needless to say that I am proud of him but a little jealous
I met Karl once and expected the same. He was a cool guy.
So....... what did you learn about the bass bite so far this year. Im having trouble on the largies this year
There is a place in Acron Ohio called Land Big Fish.
Google maps says its 40minutes from Cleveland.
One of the best fishing stores I have ever been in. Great staff, HUGE selection, great prices.
You can check them out on line

These are the spoons that I was talking about. They are called Blue Fox Lucius. Very cool colors. Only available in Europe
Very cool Mike. If you check out the European Rapala sites , they have a new style of spoon that looks very similar. Some pretty cool colours too.
Oh Yeah....... Jack Penny rocks !
