  2. Crappie you did the right thing! Landowner was in the wrong but you did what was best in the situation. We avoid fishing waterfront property ( docks ect) when there is someone on the dock , in or near the water . Have yet to have anyone give us a hard time. Sounds like your new friend may have had a bad experience or is just an unhappy individual. TB

  4. orry no experience with Cocoon glasses but my oldest ( Pikeie on OFC) also wears glasses and just uses standard Polarized glasses over his perscription glasses. Just need to find a pair that fit . TB

  6. Took a stroll on Good Friday to see if the suckers have shown up yet . not a fish to be seen but this family have taken up residence. Almost stepped on this little guy ! Had some time today so my youngest son and I went down to have a look. There back. Not the prettiest but lots of fun . No big numbers yet but we caught 7 in about an hour . Pretty little creek right behind the house too! TB
  7. defineatly needa good strong fence and if they dig , that may not even work ! My dad had two and great dogs .Both hunters , lost them every year but luckily got them back each time . TB
  8. My kids started off with spinning rods and other than a few "miscasts" they caught on real quick . They were around 5-6 when they started fishing . Those spincast outfits seem to cause problems for the kids that I see using them. But the main thing they are fishing !!! TB
  9. good on ya for getting out. Sunny but that wind is chilly , we caught 6 suckers in the creek at the back of our place.Was fun to feel a fish on the line. Cleaned up some of the brush behind the house and enjoyed a bit of a fire. Love that sunshine TB

  12. No kidding they are expensive. Looking to fly him from TO to winnipeg for $181 then more than twice that to fly from Winnipeg to Kenora via Bearskin ! Luckily my sister lives in dryden so may see if they would like to take a trip to Winnipeg in May and give him a ride ! TB

  19. not sure where to launch Keswick side but there is always lots of debris out on the water .everything from lumber and skids to propane bottles hard to see even in calmer weather What kind of boat ? TB
