thanks for posting that pic agin lew My last boat ( 4 years ago ) an old Springbok had that cable steering as well . if someone turned the motor by hand ( esp on the trailer) the cable would come of the spool below the steering wheel Was never really ' at ease' in that boat TB

Took a stroll along a nearby creek to see what I could see. Still a fair amount of snow in the bush , the rain shoud help clear that away Tons of deer sign , was hoping to spot a shed or two but no luck .Did see one 'white flag' but the owner disapeared in a flash. Here's my Garden ,won't be too long ...Yum! these go great with Perch filets and beer . No suckers spotted yet In the creek maybe in a few days . TB

Really suggest you try the 'get north' tab on the toolbar . Lots of info there. May help you narrow the search and then ask for opinions on the resort you have selected . good luck TB

Welcome aboard ! If you could narrow the search criteria that would help .Canada's a big place What geographic area time of year type of fish experience Level of comfort Accomodation type and anything else you can think of . OR just click on the ' get North ' on the toolbar above ! TB

Looks good ! I used steel stud for all basement framing in the last house , alot less mess and easier to frame bulkheads etc . Didn't have any issue with studs twisting !? Also couldn't fit 4x8 down the stairs , just scored the back , folded it in half , down the stairs and on the wall , made for less joints to tape Really like the built in beer fridge , just need some better beer Thanks for posting , the new house (new to us) has a prefinished basement but it does need some decorating ! Thanks for posting this Ron , a small donation has been sent on behalf of Cheryl and I . Good luck on meeting your goal. dave

I do the same , helps if you have a tachometer. What type of vehicle and what is the estimated load you will be towing ? Tranny cooler is always a good investment as well. TB

haven't seen the suckers in the creek behind our place yet . first one caught last year was April 12. TB
-
same here . very happy with them and have been in the day long drizzles and heavy ( GBay last year) and I mean heavy rain , with no noticable leaks . They do make you sweat if you try doing anything more than fishing in them though. Almost bought the yellow viking Bibs at the Sportsman show , but decided not. tb

Wow lots of good info here . Our last dog lived 14 years ( lab boarder colle mix,60lb).When she was a pup we were feeding her Puppy Chow .Couldn't seem to get her house trained.Vet suggested the high sodium ( to get the dogs to eat it ) was causing her to drink to much water , hence increasing the 'pee factor'. Switched to Science Diet ,recommended and SOLD by the vet solved the house training problem .Year later it was discovered she had an alergy ( scratching , losing patches hair) and swithed to the Science diet Vegitarian. Re-Run was a very laid back dog ( heart Murmer diagnosed in the first year) the veggie diet also controlled her weight . We are planning on getting another pup this may . this info will be very useful tb

Try 'Autohound ', cool search engine . May help you find a delaer /location that has a high inventory of used trucks I drive by Broadway Auto sales in Bradford often ,they always have quite a few trucks . not sure of thier reputation. Barrie Ford boasts being the # 1 truck dealer may have a selction of used. TB

tinbanger replied to musky_man's topic in General Discussion
Too many to chose but fishing in leaky wooden rental boats on Schooner lakes with my dad would be among them early mornings leaving the house in Kingston , mist on the water when we arrived at the lake . Lots of bass and a shore lunch . Thanks for bringin back those memories. TB -
Gee I would have Thought Northern Ont would be the place to buy a truck ! I would start logging some serious computer time and check out all the gm/ford dealers as well as any used dealers on line you can find .But you probably already thought of that . good luck TB
