  12. Thinking about taking a trip this summer to Dryden ON for a visit with my Sister and family . Would also like to spend a week in the general area (S.S.Marie north (west)on our own as a family . Don't think there is a bad lake just looking for any reccomendations/good experiences Looking to either rent a cottage or camp (tent).Lodges are a bit out of our price range (5 people) Prefer a larger lake as we will haul or own boat (17' 90hp) also willing to travel short distances from base camp for day trips species focus Pike ,walleye, even bass ! Have been thinking Lake Nipegon area. Any and all comments appreciated. And I promise lots of pics! Tinbanger

  14. Glad to hear you had a good time despite the mishap. Should have stayed with us !! maybe you could caught that 3 rd place fish the Pikeie caught ! Tinbanger
  15. Terry You should have no trouble getting on the lake from the other lot .Maybe 100yds max and nice and flat. We should try a grab the parking spots closest to the lake and perhaps haul a couple of picnic tables over for bbq and prizes TB
  16. Posted this in the official thread as well . Lot F at the boat ramp is closed off as there is a midway set up there ,so looks like the lot next to it (G?) will have to suffice .As most will be there early hopefully parking won't be an issue .Late arrivals ( my wife and daughter) may have a tougher time of it. TB I'd pay money to see a bunch of floater suits on the Tilt and Whirl !!
  17. Stopped by the park on the way home .Looks like we have lost our set up spot we had last year at the ramp ( Lot F?) as a mini midway has been set up there Should be able to set up at the edge of the adjoining lot ,but for anyone coming late rin the morning parking may be tough . TB btw I'll throw a garbage can and bags into the trailer tonight . I can dispose of our garbage on Monday at work .
  18. SlowPoke is most likely right , but end of the day ...you get stood up ! Wish I had known sooner , #1 son works at Zehrs in Barrie maybe could have got a deal . Ah always next year .Don't fret too much maybe a few extra $$ will be donated so the cost of food doesn't take away from reason we are all there . TB

And it even appears the fish are biting More huts than I remember last year surprisingly littel slush out there today and this coming cold snap aught to firm thing up nicely. See all on Saturday Tinbanger
