You have to go out past the island to get to the laker/whitie waters - as was mentioned above - you would probably be better off heading to the west side of the lake - alot less walking. Tracker ( Don ) - we head out from LeFroy or Innisfil as mentioned

The float rod could also be stuck on ( black ball out of the water and not floating on top of the water. Tracker ( Don )

How much water was in the sump pit? If not much - sounds like the impeller in the pump housing has broke free and is not pumping - this sounds like a stand up pump, with the motor on top ( above the pit lid ) - do yourself a big favour - change it to a submersible pump - they work much better and no problems. A freind of mine has two of these things - those dogs are NUTS!!! - they never get tired and never stop - even the one that has to be close to 10 years old - more energy then most 10 week old pups of most other breeds. I never stop laughing at them! Tracker ( Don )

I had marcum lx5, vex fl-18 and Lowrance x67c is the winner for me. Love the graph mode. I also have the X67C - and I wouldn't trade it for any of the other ice machines! Don

I have a single, and a double snowmobile trailer ( both bought used ) - had them both for a few years now - no issues what so ever - quite happy with both of them. Don ( Tracker )

Yup - as Skeeter said - love my Sportman. I have yet to find its limitations. I would buy another one in a heart beat! Only thing I did was add chains to the back tires ( for ice fishing Simcoe ) - pulls my 8 X 10 sleeper hut around like its not even there! Don

Check Costco - they have one that is a good size and looks like a very solid unit, or do as Fish Farmer says - thats what I do for ice fishing most of the time. Tracker
