At least 8.5. 51 for 65 in 5 half days of Salmon fishing. 8 Muskies in 6 days And, my first 10 lb Wally (coming this Thursday). :-) Lots of fun with friends and family and met a couple of quality guys including Iceguy!

Lovely fish! The one thing I know for sure is that Marc Thorpe does an awesome job of handling and releasing his Musky. Maybe, we should team up Cronzy with him?

So, stuck on the Honeydew list this weekend, so decided to take on a Porcetta. Here is the little fella getting ready for the grill. Get the BGE up to temp, with some nice smoke action. Set-up the Temp control complete with wireless beeper. Of course, the Guru is the brains of the operation! The wife claims that veggies are required, so.... 5 hours later, the bad boy is ready. Grab a blade and start hacking. It was a tasty treat! It's not as good as fishing, but what can you do.

OK, I know he does a lot for fishing - so, no need to reiterate that. But good Lord, he is chucking them back in there with no regard. I hate to see this and then have to explain to the kids that releasing fish that way is unacceptable. Of course, they have trouble understanding why they are seeing this type of behaviour on TV.....

If you're going to use braid - don't forget your backing. I like to match the diameter of the mono backing with the diameter of the braid - but that is personal preference. :-)
