  1. Thanks for the info, they look very good as well - however I don't see any pricing information on their website. I typically avoid retailers who don't provide price transparency.
  2. Hi Folks, looking at adding a track system for rod holders. Traxstech (formerly Pursuit) and Bert's custom tackle both look to have nice systmes. Any feedback on these systems (pros and cons) or other system suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  3. Thanks for displaying a proper hold Bob!!!
  4. On the big board with 29.12 (4th). Not bad for flying blind! PM me your email and I'll send you those logistics we talked about for October.
  5. Congrats on that big one!!!
  6. Hey Rob, how did it go today?
  7. Well, nothing against Belwood but Guelph is 1000 acres and there will be less than 1/2 dozen boats on the lake. Of course, with the elecric you'll need to be patient....... PM me if you would like some fav spots. :-)
  8. 1. Technically the gatehouse opens at 8 - you can leave at your leasure 2. $4 a head - no launch fee 3. C&R is encouraged 4. Multiple spots - personal preference 5. Electric ONLY 6. Structure with access to deep water. :-)
  9. Holy cow - awesome job!
  10. Tell me your secrets.... Tightlines!
  11. I'm up for it. BTW, shakey was very tasty!
  12. So far, so good for me!
  13. Good idea. Thanks for sharing!
  14. Gotta like breaking in the new rod and reel. Good work with the lads!
  15. Iceguy was kind enough to teach an old dog some new tricks on the big water this morning. We went out a fair distance to his secret spot. It was a lovely morning on the big water.... Rods were busy going 11 for 14 with a mixed bag of shakers and teens and the lines start humming immediately - even before we could get the metal on the riggers. Not long before Iceguy got some nice action... Fortunately, the fishing gods were happy with my jersey selection and showed some mercy on me as well... In the name of hospitality, we invited a couple of shakers over for dinner. Mine is about to walk the plank - cedar plank that is. Overall, an awesome start to the weekend! Thanks again Rob for your expertise and patience!!! SS.
  16. Excellent report - thanks for sharing!
  17. Nice work, especially without electronics or your trolling motor!
  18. EB Games in North Bay has them in stock. EB Games #809 Northgate Square S/c 1500 Fisher Street, Unit T-184 North Bay ON, P1B 2H3 CA (705) 840-1184
  19. I hate the way that fat *!@! releases his fish. My kids watch and think that it is some sort of Javelin competition. Whereas, the other shows are pretty professional in their release (on average). Hopefully my post count will not be challenged!
  20. Cheap *!$!$!%! hooks! :-) I can't wait for some reel screamin' action!!!
  21. Had a blast and learned a tonne with the team that finished third (Mike, Rob (Iceguy) and George) with just over a 100 lbs. The crew I was with were very knowledgeable, friendly and very humorous. I would strongly recommend being an observer, especially if you are new to this type of fishing. Thanks Al (Spoonman) for inviting me and showing me around yesterday - a first rate guy indeed!
  22. So that's how Charlie catches all those fish....... BTW - nice work!
