  1. Congrats to all the grad's this week!

  2. The Lindsay store has about a dozen 9" knifes left and a few other items but no plano cases (I was just there)
  3. Yeah my phone was non-stop that day with pic's coming in, lol!!
  4. Yeah from the dam to the lake side (Sturgeon) had a warning posted in Friday because of the sewage and possible e.coli... Now the rain did make it more murky than the sewage one would hope... http://www.thewolf.ca/syn/146/140739/rainfall-prompts-raw-sewage-leakage-into-lindsay-waterway?sc_ref=facebook
  5. yup. The burnt river is good in the area between Fenelon and Kinmount from what I know. And all the musky I have ever heard of are not big by any means.
  6. That was the "Holland landing" area too as of late, pump's pumping the water off ASAP! Didn't see it 1st hand but my father did and said it was crazy
  7. I just had a 4 hour trip from Burnt River to Lindsay to Whitby (then to SAIL to spend a GC and an hour with my son) and then back to Lindsay. In that time it rained between 70 to 80% of my travels.
  8. in all my travels over the past 2 days from Lindsay to Bowmanville, to Brooklin and Burnt River every thing I passed was blown and dirty! You should see the river in Little Britian!!!
  9. Not that I've heard in the past 3.5 years living here. It does always stink in the area so who knows to be honest.
  10. If in the Lindsay river there is a good reason for that. The sewage station by the boat ramp was flooded out on Friday am due to all the rain and yes it went into the river
  11. got it sorted. one loose connection. now to see if it's still drawing power with everything off. at least it's out of the garage and in the lake on the boat lift.
  12. so thinking the starter has died. you can hear it spin but not engage to fire the motor
  13. just got here now and going to check. the Bat is fully charged now
  14. Hey All. So last year the bilge pump went and disconnected it in the fall. Got a new battery in the spring and since de-fogged the motor. Today my dad went to test the boat and there is something drawing power still. The boat wouldn't even turn over. Any ideas? Even went so far to pull the fuse from the HummingBird (532 I think as I'm not there at the moment but I will be this evening). What else can be drawing power still when everything is off? Thanks!! G
  15. Should be running 'krypton' by now.
  16. daddy and daughter weekend, sadly not fishing, she's got a dance 'thing' in Bowmanville tomorrow

  17. here is the article : https://kawarthanow.com/2017/06/23/20-year-old-chinese-student-dies-after-boating-accident-on-chemong-lake/ and yes sad indeed
  18. Go see Will at Curtis Point Cottages (a member here) and tell him you heard of them from this site. And rent a boat as long as you have a valid boaters card. If not see if he or others can guide you two for a bit.
  19. Nope, we all read it the same hence why I said 'perch or crappie' as a target...
  20. she may have more fun perch or crappie fishing and those are much better eat's than bass in my eye's (and taste buds)
  21. wow, very sad, that's all I've got...
  22. The raised bungalow across the St from me is a corner lot and is about 1100 SQF or so with a garage and listed at $349,999 and sold in days probably for more than asking. The North end of town taxes are about $650 quarterly if looking out this way.
  23. Rained so bad here yesterday my basement flooded in around a closed window. I went down to the basement cause I heard a noise and was like "what is that?" to then see water gushing in at the base on the window... I have a $2,000 deductible but covered otherwise if I need to go that route...
  24. I have access to molds and can pick colours but when that's the case BULK orders are my only choice sadly.
  25. Have a happy father's day all
