I've never thrown anything at any one and I know we do not own the water or fish. But when I am standing there with my 4-year old on the dock fishing and people (who are adults in age) are tossing lures at us, well then I have a problem with that. hence my 1st post in this thread. I've never gone running out to tell people to go away as that would be foolish on my part. But like the 1st post says, please don't fish it while people are there in the water or on the dock. It's just rude. How would you like to get hooked, have your child hooked and or step on a hook in the water at your cottage? I don't think you would like it to much...

I agree with you on this one. I will not fish near a dock when there is even a hint of someone being at the cottage. I've had guys come by so close (with me fishing off the dock with my daughter who is 4) and chuck lures right beside me. I almost yelled out "honey get my gun" but then I tossed a lure and it bounced off the side of the boat they knew I was mad. No matter what I said (had to be civil with the wee one around) or did these TOOLS still sat there for 5 min. And they we not 'kids' either.

So that's when you ran in to the MNR sign you posted (on another site)...

I would say the bucket is better only because the bait is in there longer to recharge. with that said (and that most people are not using the bucket that it comes in due to leaking) I would guess that if you dumped the spay in to your own bucket and stored the bait in it that it would work just as well. so, now what costs more? a bucket with bait or spay + bait? looks like Canuck2fan has a new test to try...

but if you use them to fish, catch fish, clean fish, cook fish, you have a lot less work in eating process. more time for beer too

I did find a youtube video of it (6 min) and it was huge! thank *** that my folks place isn't near where it hit. as for fishing that area let me know when you will be there as I might be up there too on another lake close by.
