  1. cleaning your boat/truck/suv/van/car with a damp dryer sheet removes those pesky stuck on bugs. on shore, not in the water...
  2. yeah, they were fun so they went back. oh, the big one was in the bay across from my room...
  3. Thanks all. now I just have to ask my wife what happend as I'm sure she knows and just isn't telling me...
  4. So I'm back from the resort and happy I brought the small boat along. 2 bass managed to get a pic taken too. 1st one was 5LB's on 2 scales (had to double check it) and the 2nd was just under 3LB's. The 2nd was my 1st cast from shore as we were getting ready to go out for some walleye's. I got the 1st set of hooks out when my bro-in-law came over with the camera to snap this pic. All and all it was a fun place to go to, yet again...
  5. That's what we do too.
  6. TKS, it was the plan to go with all that I have to get it sorted out. That's the problem, I have NO clue how it broke. All I got was a "did you know your one fishing rod is broken" comment from my wife...
  7. Hey all. I know there is BPSBASSMAN from BPS and I'm not sure if there are others here but I need some help. I have 2 problems. One is my brand new "White River Fly Shop" chest waders are leaking in a boot right on the seem (as you can tell my test try was all wet ). These were a gift so I do not have a bill. The other is my XPS "Performance Graphite PGX 70 MHT" rod the tip snapped off. This is also new this year; the bill is from Feb 26. So, what can be done? Thanks.
  8. got me again, this time I was smart and took a pic
  9. that's why you buy a wallet from the $1 store so you can go again and again for only a few bucks!
  10. HAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, I just had to...
  11. you could get a lip grip too if you are concerned about the teeth...
  12. It is a great way as the money you save after a few years pays for itself and then some. I do not have it yet but will be looking in to this more when I move in to my new house. I know people getting it done right now and the cost depends on how and where you have to dig. the how is - straight down or go on a 45* and then the where is just where?
  13. Sorry Dave but Barbie is a Vett girl (so I gater from my daughters stuff), not a Tundra lover... Have fun up there and enjoy. Geoff W
  14. if he comes up to you again, pull out your cell (if it takes pic's) and snap his pic so you have it for the just in case factor. also, I would point out the fact that you have a valid fishing license and that this is for personal consumption and that you want to see his CO ID. That is if you feel up to it as some people can just been absolute tools and you never know what they may do...
  15. I gether the good folks fishing on Lake Kashagawigamog are all out and maybe missed this? Either way, I'll be having some fun up there fishing when I can. If you are up there that week PM me and maybe I can hook up with you for a bit. Cheers.
  16. good on you for giving your mom a tasty snack! I bet he was ticked cause he was skunked while he was there...
  17. *thread bump* Hey folks. So my time is coming real close for my annual trip to Lake Kashagawigamog, I get there on July 6th. I'll be staying at Halimar and I will be bringing my boat. Is there a launch close to the resort? Can you tell me any tip's or trick's to fishing this area of the lake? I'm not going to be venturing far from the resort if any of the kids want to come so any spot with any fish for the kids would be appreciated! Thanks for looking and any replies, cheers. Geoff

  19. is it ok if I post a link to another board of a tv show host who had the same problem and posted about the whole situation?
  20. My 4x2 3.0L 1996 Ranger was a nightmare! I got it brand new and by time I went in for the 3rd oil change the starter motor fell out in the shop! That was just the start of the SUPER long list of problems it gave me. The happiest I ever was with that truck was when I got rid it and I watched it round the corner and go out of site…
  21. Very sorry to hear about your loss of Amy. The second I read this I went right over to my dog Sierra and gave her a huge hug and kiss. Especially considering they could pass for twins!
  22. I got one too, it was a web thing to fill in.

    JOBS

I’m now 34, finished high school and went right to work. I was a warehouse person for a while, got in to being a server/bartender, sales at a retail place, back to the bar’s… then off to PC sales at a small company. Then, moved on to other BIGGER PC companies and then off to a smaller VAR (value added reseller). I was at the VAR for 5 years before I decided to move on. The VAR I was at was good pay but it was a small place so I learned a lot about the folks I worked with that I never needed to know. Trust me, things I NEVER wanted to know… So off to Dell I went for 2 year (2 years at Dell = 4+ years in any other sales job). In my 2 years there I did large corporate sales (CBG/LCA for any ex Dell folk out there) for software and printing and imaging consultant. Now, I do corporate sales (for Print only) at another company and I enjoy my challenges. After all, not many people think a TV and cell phone company make business class printers so it’s a hard fight to win business and mindshare. But the finical rewards are there so I cannot complain too much. Besides, I am an outside sales Account Executive with them so I do work out of the office and that allows me to have some days at home for lunch with the wife and kids… Not everyone needs a degree to have a great paying job, that I can attest to. Having an education is great as long as the one you spent so many years working on is the one field you want to be in. Sales; it’s a hard job and a great job BUT you have to be confident in yourself, be yourself and never Bull. Bull always come up and gets you in the end, so to say…
  24. we go to www.halimar.com every year. This year is our 3rd year going there too. Great food and service too! Oh, our kids are 1 1/2 and 4 1/2 and there is lots for them to do, inc. kids day programs.
  25. that was me, thanks!!
