Hey all. So I have a 8HP Honda that is about 6 years old (or less) and has a High Output Charging option. Info from Honda: The BF8 provides 2 Amps at 1000 RPM and an amazing 12 amps at only 3000 RPM to maintain the battery charge or keep electronics going even at trolling speeds. Is this option worth the money to charge my batt. to power my sonar and minn kota? has anyone used one? Thanks... Geoff

and if you wanted to head towards Coby (Coboconk) then you have Balsam Lake for some eye's. Some of the smaller lakes in the area close the boat lanuch in the day time because the lakes are getting over fished. Dave, how often are you up there? I'm just North of town by 15KM. Not sure when I'll be up next though...

I just wanted to say Thanks to Nanook (Jack)!!! I picked up a Minn Kota 35lbs thrust w/36" shaft from him over the weekend. the sale is good for 6, 8, 10 & 14 LB only. yes it's a good deal for a good product. you do need some mono backing to give the braided line something to hold on to.

I say you get an Ugly Stick combo for under $50.00. Then you can tell your freinds that you got that fish with an ugly stick and confuse them...
