  1. great post and point. the best pic by far IMHO is the Blue's and your rod... HAHA but why are you using a Sanley slot to stir?
  2. yup... HAHAHA
  3. correct.
  4. not bad at all.
  5. Nice! Let's keep in touch via the PM we have going on the wood box. Cheers.
  6. for a hard surface like the hull try a moist bounce sheet as it works wonders on mine with no damage but I use Spray9 on the leather seats. I hope that helps...
  7. Let me know what you come up with as I am very interested, and thanks!
  8. Jedi, I have to go to the 401 and Hurontario (area) a few times a month for work from Brooklin (Winchester and Thickson). Today I left at 6:45 (+ a stop at my local Tim's) and I was there at my office by 8:00 am + or - 5 min. 407 to 410 S to 410 W to Hur. as I'm in one of the tall buildings just off the HWY. I hope that gives you some idea. But if you take off after 4 PM to go home you are better off to eat dinner close to work and then get in the car after 6PM to go home. You get home at the same time but at least you get to relax and eat before you go home rather than spend that whole time behind the wheel... Geoff
  9. Thanks Smitty Yes and no Wild. I have made a few blanket & toy boxes so I gather the dimensions chance and type of wood products as well as liner so I can give it a valid try as I have the tools and understanding. Let me know via PM if you want to or here in the open as to what it is you are thinking of. Even if it costs me more to make I'm all for it as it's something I made and would be happy with rather than buy and by disappointed with. Cheers, Geoff
  10. Is there anyway you can share those plans with me for the wooden case? The van is gone in a year so I would rather not make the mod's to it if that's the case (no punn intended)... Oh and I checked LeBaron's site today and they currently do not have any of the fishing items up as the site is being updated, but thanks. Let me know when you can about the DIY wood case, cheers. Geoff
  11. That's an option but the one I found that I thought was good, you had to drill in place. All others that I have found so far cause you to not be able to see out of your rearview mirror...
  12. Now that I look at it your right about the sheet thing. The other unit isn't bad but the reviews are also not good when the unit is extended. This is just for me to protect everything from my wife, kids and dog in the van. And going to BPS just for that isn't worth it... Anyone else?
  13. Hey all. Well, the 2nd last time I had my 7' rod in the van it got broken (as some of you may recall from another post) and over the long weekend it almost happened again. So I think to be safe I better get a case that can hold 8 or so rods with reels. I like the one at BPS the BPS caddy but I'm not sure how good it is. Also, BPS is not close to me to make the trip just for that item. Any recommendations for another product like this at that price point? I generally pack 6 rod and reel set up's when I go out too. Thanks. Geoff
  14. *psssstttt* hear that GCD? Yeah it's the long weekend and the beers are opening up all over the place. thanks and have a great weekend, cheers.
  15. That's on of my fav. ones of all time! HAHAHA
  16. I have one's just like this, BPS White River. I went into the BPS store based on the web sale price and got them for the web sale price just before a fuss started. After all, driving for an hour and a bit to pick these up and not get the sale pice I was P____D! I like em, I stay warm in cold water too...
  17. Glad to hear it went well; and the good news is you have fish-porn to tide you over while you get better.
  18. they need a "stir the pot" smiley here... Can't you bbq a 50" musky with a 24" rainbow inside? Kind of like a Turducken...
  19. I just found this on the MNR site (as I was getting the link for another post). This quote is from the Bait section of the FAQ. "Many anglers will drain their minnow bucket on-shore then bag and quickly freeze the excess minnows for use another day. Better still; catch your own bait from the lake you intend to fish."

    VOIP?

Hi all. It's been a bit since I have made a post (since my house movie) but I have a Q4U all. My father called me today asking what is the best VOIP phone service in his area...so I said I had no clue... So, is there any OFC'er out there in his area (Burnt River area between Fenlon and Kinmount off 121) that has a VOIP service that is either bad or great? He's looking at a few VOIP providers (Vonage is the front runner) right now. Feel free to post here or PM me, thanks all! Geoff
