Hey all. So as some of you know I have a dry river bed by my house that have Rainbows come up to spawn in the spring. Well my kids were down there today and found about 50 or more baby rainbow fry stuck in a small pool of water (with NO WAY to get out). So here is my question as my kids want me to "save the baby fish!". Can I take them in a bucket and move them farther down in the same water system so they have a chance to live? It's all part of the same creek but this is the spot where the creek begins to form. I can walk less then 10 min. and have the trapped fry in healthy river (same river) waters. I have a feeling the answer is no but I have to ask, they (the kids) are bugging me... Thanks. Geoff

Yeah Paul. But I went through something like this last year a short shaft will fix those that need to cover 15" deep or more...

that sucks man. PS, my MRS said long shaft but knowing that 15" is normal you are fine with an STD (sorry! standard one)

Cliff, reading that post you are talking about is why I said this. the 15-yr old's folks I bet are in shock and cannot understand what is going on right now to them and the son. I wish that all involved get grilled by the COPs and the truth be found and those "leaders" of this action be held accountable for.

great to hear the kid has been charged. sad to say it's means nothing to the kid and his friends at this moment. I hope the other kids get the book thrown at them for being involved. I'm sure someone in the car/van said something like let's get the hell out of here and as a scared kid he tried to. too bad an eye for an eye doesn't work out cause then others are at a rather large loss too.

I took my grandfather's pet rock out to get cleaned (it was rather dusty) and when I dropped it in the lake by mistake I couldn't figure out what one it was... So I grabbed the pocket fisherman, tied on a b-donk-a-donk and went fishing.
