  1. If I was to go out bass fishing all day on my folks lake, you bet I would have a floro leader tied on my braid! the water is very clear and full of zebra mussels and even 20LB braid on it's own comes up looking like Shrek just used it in his teeth. however, walleye fishing I use it 1/2 the time as a leader. I tried it as a mainline on my new Stradic FJ and it just would not stay on the spool so I know I won't try that ever again. braid, braid and more braid with a hint of floro for me...
  2. maybe if they changed the name from "Leafs" to "Musky's" more people would try and catch a game from time to time...

  11. It's a one coile per door system and I'm going to get it fixed ASAP. If anyone here does that sort of work PM me and I'll send the business you way, thanks all.
  12. Mike, the Voltaeus is actually a very good rod. the tip is very soft on the 7' Med rod so you can see and feel even the lightest bite and it has the backbone to horse a fish out. I bought the MRS a SELUS rod and it's a bit heavy but still feels ok. the newer better rod's are a great product and very nice to fish with so it's all about your budget in the end.
  13. then get your tools and let's go find a coil to use then... PS, the finder works. Sinclair and I tested it...
  14. Hey all. So I get home yesterday to find out the coil has broken on my one garage door. So, two things to ask. 1, do I need the coil considering I have an opener on said door? Can I keep using it the way it is and not fix it? 2, Anyone here fix (replace) said problem here on OFC in my area? Thanks. PM me if you want. Geoff
  15. I guess my folks lake will be dec 19 for it to have a GOOD layer of ice. not just a frost. but if the wind keeps going the way it is then the 24th. I'll be there on new years eve and with luck, perching while I'm there...

  24. The area of Warden and HWY 7 was proposed before the ACC was built. The reason was you could have more fans get to and from the area easier because of all the HWY's there. The talks stopped when MLSE said they needed to keep the team in the downtown core.
