I met him and had a few beers with him back in 2008 at the Wayne Gretzky Classic golf event. He was a rather nice guy but you could tell it was all a show. It's sad to say but will he be next?

Hey all. I'm looking at maybe adding to the Christmas wish list with a new frabill straight line ice combo. the reel looks like a fly or centerpin reel but it does have drag built in. anyone hold one and play with it yet? I know the odds of someone doing real testing with it yet is slim but no harm in asking I guess. the reel is said to reduce line twist and after jigging all day for pan fish I can see it being a big plus but just not to sure. so comments and thoughts are welcome (other wise I wouldn't have posted it) PS, Christmas is coming and I know there are many of you out there that maybe forgot to ask me what I can use or would like... thanks. Geoff

when it comes to a spinning reel, you can spend $20 and be VERY happy or spend $200 and not be happy. it all depends on what you like the feel and look of.

good luck with it and I'm sure you will be happy with it. there are many stores that need to learn a thing or two from the SMB one's out there and that's CUSTOMER SERVICE! There is a store out by me and I don't like to shop there because they look down at you if your are not 110% sure what you want. That's neither here nor there and I don't want you post to go that way but great report on the sale and service! enjoy it!!!!
