  1. Agreed. You must have been using these things along time Jacques because you sure like them and can certainly make them? I can imagine where you can have 5 lines down they would be great because they're easily visible and likely effective. Only started ice fishing about 10 years ago and pretty well missed the generation which would primarily use such a thing. Although... did for a few years have a couple "Pikeslayerinators," that were called to action. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a154/Bunx/kesagami07-h1.jpg Anyways... some handy work there dood.
  2. And why would you ever want to disable 20,000 internet anglers from knowing where you caught your fish??? I just don't get that. lol. j/k Can't help ya mang. Have still NEVER texted one text in my life... let alone figured out how my phone will take a pic or make a text. lol.
  3. That's just a shizzle tonne of hiking aboot Bri. My Gawd, get Quad!!! lol. Seriously though, it'll keep ya fit chasing lakers with that go' get 'em attitude. Solid fish for ya. So it's Adam Sinclair is it... hmmmph! Dood still seems a little nuts to me, so I'm not convinced by your word. lol. Will have to meet the both of ya's someday to make a final decision on ya both. lol.
  4. Needs at least a 50 tiller... but otherwise pretty stylin'. lol.
  5. Beautiful job Garry. I like that. Both the finished rod and the seat. Solid work dood!
  6. Have the same auger and like it too. Once ice is greater than 18 inches or so, the Jiffy comes out. Otherwise, I'm fine drilling 20-30 holes a day with the FinnBore III. Overall, an OK day of pannies for ya. They made you and Jer work though.
  7. Bring on many more outings for you and the kid! Good start Rob.
  8. Great job dood! LIght light gear for some real quality trout. Thanks for reporting.
  9. 62 FENDER PRECISION BASS. Poppitty Pop Pop... BOOM BOOM!!! Chubby Checker "Do The Twist!!!" Number 1 in 62.
  10. It's funny but, every hole I've ever fished, has likely been fished before me. But I'll still try and protect what I believe to be "my" honey hole. lol. Who needs TV anyways... the best shows are alive right here, online, with OFC. Boooyah!!!
  11. Fine lakers for your big effort Steve.
  12. Great pics Simon. That's some kinda winter you're getting to enjoy. Fine walleye too.
  13. Awesome! The work in the head is really impressive. They are "Advanced" Taxidermy for a reason. Was happy with my speckled trout too... and looking forward to having them do the wife's Arctic char one day.
  14. 29 pound goldfish!
  15. 101 pages... first post here. Listening to this.. and alot lately too. Great concert a few months back.
  16. Stevie Zebco and I just lit the tent on fire one time. That got it warm for awhile... ... but then when the -37C windchill and whiteout snowstorm came overnight it got really sucky. Come morning I look over at Steve sleeping in his Canada Goose parka and the dood's got a stalagmite of snow on his chest which came through the hole in the roof. Black Cat... Sport Cats... Not good enough. Buddy Heaters probably better. Go with two of everything or an easy escape plan. lol.
  17. Shiver pooing sucks. I'm with Bill and have never had to go while on the ice, just late late fall... cause when it's below zero I'm pretty sure the hole freezes over.
  18. Yeah... but terrible is still good if it's fishing. lol.
  19. Right on Stan and fam. My littlest one loves her perchin' too.
  20. FNC, Real Fishing, Fishful, Hooked, Canadian Sportfishing... man, even the Dimestore... these shows and more helped with the long northern winters and some certainly planted a little knowledge into the noggin'. Don't watch fishing shows or TV much anymore. Charlie though... I'd fish with that guy. In fact, would fish with any of them. It's easy to judge from the couch, and even easier to change the channel if it's not for you.
  21. Well Al. I was able to read through all.. at a quick glance. Some encouraging results with restoration efforts and alot of great effort by many involved. It's awesome, and I hope it continues. Pics as always were excellent, and the vid is surely showtime for the speck enthusiast. You love 'em... there's no denying. Gotta be hard getting through the long winter in wait. Thanks for the post. I'll pass along the MNR link to a couple friends interested. Maybe the Rebel's will share the water again this year.
  22. Was gonna say it... but then Slop did... and then Sinker did too. lol.
  23. I do Shane. The X67 gives either option and since moving down here and beginning to use a sonar for ice fishing, that's just simply what I chose to start out with. Now again though I'll flip to the graph for the heck of it. People just get used to relating to familiarity right. No right or wrong way... but I do kind of agree, you don't need to get "fancy," unless you want to.
  24. Holy that cucumber would make one big salty pickle on the wall. Fine whitey!
  25. Birds would need a sledgehammer to bust into those feeding vaults Jacques. Good and tough craftsmanship!
