  1. Ice storm. Hallucinogens, keg O' beer, toboggans, woodstove and a BBQ. Hizneckuva a slippery slope way out there in Maberly. lol.
  2. Apple pecan pie. Instead of the all goo pecan filling about half of that is replaced by applesauce. Not quite as sweet as regular pecan but 10 times better tasting. Otherwise, regular cheese cake doused in Frangelico or chopped berries and maple syrup.
  3. Enjoyed these Wayne. Had to wait to get to work to open them, but it's been a couple good nightshifts sharing the skies with ya. Thanks bud. Looking forward to more summer stuff from ya.
  4. For a post of little words it sure said a tonne. Great few weeks Dave. Excellent fish.
  5. Used to tie alot of pink hair jigs. Pink and pink/white. Favorite color jig when living up north and responsible for some of the best walleye and searun specks. Nice fish. You proved the color works for you too.
  6. OK Dan... so your wife caught a 100 perch... so what did you do. j/k. Good fishing dood!
  7. From my Trauma course last week... follow ABCDEFGHI A. Inspect the airway. Clean out any obstruction then, apply a neck collar for C-spine immoblitization if you suspect head or spinal injury. B. Assess breathing. Rise and fall of the gills symmetrical. Air bladder distended. Auscultate the lungs ensuring adequate air entry bilaterally. C. Check pulse. Check circulation ie, skin color, pallor, temp... submerge fish if need be for quick revival. D. Treat disabilities. E. Expose. Quickly observe for further trauma, get your photo, then blanket and keep the fish warm. Try not to remove slime. F. Call the family for further history. Obtain full vital signs. H. Head to toe... I mean head to fin assessment. Palpating and assessing neurovascular status. I. If the fish is boarded, with help carefully rotate and inspect posterior surfaces. Once all labs and tests have returned and you've consulted with your team, then and only then can the OOS fish be discharged safely back to the water.
  8. This one needed a revisit and then the bump. Good fishing Doc. Definitely take note of the spoon and all the fish caught with it.
  9. Weather goes all over the place after September 1st in those parts. Woke one morning there to 3 inches of snow on the 8th... but then there'll be days in October you could hike in your T-shirt. Ya did pretty good for the mixed bag of weather. Gotta love how the fall pike go nuts.
