I've used a pelican pursuit 100 sit in kayak for fishing quite a few times. I really don't mind it at all. I found that after a while out that my lower back would get sore. For the price of the kayak and what I need it for it works. Iv
Rotenone is used more in an isolated body of water...private ponds small lakes. It works good when a pond ownerJus needs to get rid of fish and start over but I think the whole mississippi would be a bit much . J ust thought I would throw the idea out there.
I personally will be getting a custom cover made that will compliment all of the hardwork I put into my boat to make it look nice. Plus I know that a custom cover is going to stand up to the harsh weather better then something I could make...most of these guys are saying 10 years or more and their covers are still going strong! Storage for the winter maybe a differnt story..might make something and shrink wrap it myself.
I have to get a cover made and I never woult of thought about air vents and it sounds like a good idea. What is the outcome of having no vents...moisture and then mold?
Would rotenone be an option for a massive fish kill of the carp? I realize that all the other species would die aswell but would that be better then the great lakes being destroyed? Also is it possible to apply rotenone on such a large scale?
Well feel like I was just bent over but I am a lot happier with the marine grade vs pt. A half inch sheet of marine ply is 89.99 plus tax and the three quarter inch sheet was 112.00 plus tax. Hopefully if the weather here cooperates I will have my floor and transom pieces cut and half sealed!
Well my marine plywood is in , I just need to go pick it up this weekend. Cant wait to see the bill...but it will be worth it in the long run. Does anybody have any suggestions for material that i can redo my side walls with?
Thanks
