  1. LOL!!! Don't let Leah hear you talking about her boat like that. I had to wait until the crack of noon for you guys to get out so I could take that shot!!
  2. Starcraft MR180 / Mariner 75
  3. Get yourself a "Dry Box" and tether it to the boat while you're out. Place your boat documents, wallets, camara and tools inside. The gasket on the lid will keep moisture out in poor weather and allow it to float in the event of an emergancy. CTC has them for around $20. ***CAUTION*** They are not spill proof! -Brian
  4. A true accomplishment Joey, congratulations! A close friend and former co-worker just celebrated his second anniversary. He is going through some tough times right now as his mid-twenties son passed away yesterday in the hospital. I'm hoping we (family and friends) can help him get through this trying time. -Brian
  5. Nice fish G! Am I the only one that doesn't have one of those hats?? LOL! -Brian
  6. Rude-Dude, the way you speak of e-tecs you'd think they would not only winterize themselves but part water and generate fuel. Why do all your posts turn into an e-tec brochure and why do you insist on insulting people who own anything but an e-tec? -Brian
  7. Some have what you described attached to the boat while other have an inlet on the motor. Same principal, air pressure is sent through a pitot tube to the speedometer. They're never dead accurate but should be +/- 3-5 mph at cruising speed. Usually a horribly inaccurate reading is a result of a leaking pitot tube. -Brian
  8. I have no idea. It just looked like a better picture than me holding the spool with my feet!
  9. I'd have to say they weren't spooled properly... Did you have the spool like this? I find holding the spool with the label towards the reel helps to reduce line twist. Do 15-20 wraps and slack off. If the line goes limp, you're good. If it twists, you spooled in the wrong direction. To correct your line, let the bare line all out behind the boat and reel it back in. If you're not in the boat, have your best friend go for a walk with it. -Brian
  10. Congrats Cliff and Carole! Can you give me the phone number for this guy, I need new carpeting in my living room! I like the seat bases. It appears they lock into the channel along the side of the bench and you can move from side to side as you wish. Neat idea allowing you to balance the boat with ease. It looks like a nice cover too. If you are willing to spend $895 for a new trailer, CAS Marine in Ayr (west of Cambridge) has several in stock. I'll have an eye out for used as well. -Brian
  11. They must be bad if they're keeping you on shore Jeff! -Brian
  12. The Calcutta 400 is pretty big for an all-around reel but it's nice! The 300 is a bit smaller but has the same characteristics apart from line capacity and does not have a clicker. The 200 size loses some stopping power in the drag.
  13. All I see is a nice pair of.... legs! Mind if I use that picture for my signature???
  14. Great report G!
  15. If it's this green bridge keep heading west on the 401. If you run into a surly, gun toting civil servent asking "What is the nature of your visit?", back up about half a mile. Sorry, I couldn't resist. -Brian
  16. That looks like Michael Schumacher's 2002 Scuderia Ferrari $3,800,000.71
  17. Weren't you paying attention? He got it on eBay from a Russian exporting scam artist based in Virginia! Congrats & good luck Jedi. That's a long non-stop run. Don't push yourself and leave time for construction zones... http://www.randmcnally.com/rmc/tools/roadC...ctionSearch.jsp -Brian
  18. I have a few big inlines with single hooks. I like running a big grub under the bucktails and they rip right through the weeds as a spinnerbait would.
  19. Well done bucktail!
  20. 10HP and up. This is why 9.9 outboards are so popular.
  21. Excellent report boys... glad to see you guys put Marc on some quality fish! I'm heading out now to hopefully get a few of my own! -Brian
  22. Wayne, you dropped ANOTHER camera in the drink???? Looking forward to the report! -Brian
  23. Here too... currently 84 in London Ontario. We celebrate in October and send you guys our leftovers. -Brian
  24. Thanks Wayne, count me in. Thanks again to all offering! -Brian
  25. Thanks Lew, same to you! I'll be on LSC in morning and heading up to Phil and Theresa's in Sauble tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping to get Phil onto some Saugeen salmon and bows on Sunday morning. -Brian
