  3. Great fish but you should have blocked out the background.
  4. Our company was approached to install these products on a free trial basis. We ran them for a couple months with no detectable difference in fuel economy.
  5. That's the short cut to Colchester for those delicious walleye. Thanks Mike, see ya out there! -Brian
  6. Think of the backrest on those seats as providing lower back support and helping posture. You don't want to be leaning on them as you would on a normal seat.
  7. "Hey everybody, welcome to Lakair! Everybody that wants to party and talk about fishing can stand in this area off to my right and everybody that wants to party and talk about non-fishing can stand in this area off to my left.....hey guys, Guys... GUYS WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" SPLASH!!
  8. The serial number on my Mariner is visable on the right side of the transom bracket when looking at the rear of the boat wih the motor up.

  12. I would be very interested in attending a family/kids day. If I can throw out an idea... Turkey Point Provincial Park - http://www.ontarioparks.com/english/turk.html It is pretty central to London/Kitchener/Hamilton, has great facilities and a huge clean beach. For those bringing boats, they can launch nearby and anchor off the beach. A group picnic shelter is available for $50 and is located by the play area. -Brian
  13. Welcome to the board and of course you can join in! Don't be afraid to introduce yourself when you arrive, only half of us bite and the other half have no teeth. -Brian

  17. Well done Rich and SP. You won't get an arguement from me on big sheepies, they can be tons of fun! -Brian
  18. Don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure there are some good Canadians that could tolerate an entire day of fishing with you.
  19. Great report G. I hate those hot sticky windless days when a dip in the water will only make you hotter! -Brian
  20. ASS, GAS or GRASS - NOBODY RIDES FOR FREE! As far as "Shotgun" goes... no problem, I want the back seat all to myself. zzzzzzzzzzzz
  21. I'm coming up on Sunday (15th) and staying until the following Sunday (22nd) and I'll have Bassmastermike and Muskiestudd with me. Mike is in charge for bringing the beer and Chris and I are in charge of drinking it.
  22. My wife returned from the optometrist with a prescription for bifocals. This isn't going over very well with her. Turning 40 next week compounds the problem. She looked at some frames locally and prices are in the $500 range so I began looking online. It seems there are some huge deals to be had but I would like to hear if anyone else has purchased thier eyewear online. -Brian
  23. I've done a few "all nighters" and found it to be much better later in the season... late August into September. I never had to go too far from shore.. over 60-80 FOW. Even the great nights still had thier lulls between 2ish and 5ish. -Brian
  24. Congrat's on the new boat! Well, this is certainly "Announcement" worthy, you'll probably get more replies in the general discussion area. Some of the issues I foresee... How are you going to control a bow-mount trolling motor? One option would be a wireless setup with a hand remote. That'll run you $800-$1000 Mounting riggers doesn't look easy but you might be able to mount a rigger bar (2x6 plank) that spans from gunwale to gunwale just ahead of the motor and mount your riggers to that. Do you see yourself using riggers a lot? There are other less intrusive ways to get to a desired depth that you may wish to explore... leadcore line, dipsy divers, jet divers, torpedo divers. All you need for those rigs is a good set of rod holders. -Brian
  25. This covers the lender should you default on high ratio mortgage. If you can't pay, you're on the street but the lender can sleep peacefully knowing thier liabilty is covered.
