John I cant wait to see the episode congrats on another gr4eat trip. I am sure that Jim can learn from you also as you know how to put fish in the boat. I wish the other bait had gotten to you before the trip as I hear its a great one for up there. Thanks for taking the time to post the trip up here.
I am happy to see some of my tax dollars going into helping out the fishing community through advertising. Can the money be spent better somewhere else maybe but can it be blown easily faster HECK yeah so I for one am happy that some lakes and lodges get exposure and it is a new place not just LOTW or other places that everyone has heard of.
KARMA is what this breaks down to. The guy is well known where he lives for doing things like this and others that might come out later. This is his Karma biting him in the Arse.
I have been here around 12 years or so I remember as I had broken my ankle and my daughter was around 2 at the time. I was sitting around with my foot up and just searched something about fishing and have been here ever since.
Matt it's awesome to see you posting here keep the smiles coming.
As for the leafs my blood is blue and I will always be a fan but am always happy that I don't waits the nice spring nights sitting in front of the TV watching hockey.
Well there is my one and most likely last post in this thread.
Even thought I have a new top water out this year and its doing good I must say I love the top raider they are easy to use and call the fish in. I have not had a lot of time using or catching with stick baits.
I use them in. Any depth and have caught most fish in open water on LSC. I also use them in dead calm to 1' chop from before sun up to high noon with blue bird sky. There is not a wrong time or place for them. One thing I like is if the bite has slowed down I will use them to try and make them bite by making a commotion
Mike I have been trying to get some good footage of a figure 8 strike but each time the camera would be dead or out of screen to high or to low. I think I have it figured out a bit better now.
I had the filters but they were for the hero 3+ I have to try and find them for the hero 3
I like to speed up on the outer turn it keeps the blades moving. I do mix it up if they are following for a bit. It's tough to say for sure I usually try and read the fish and this one I saw crusing under the boat and turn when it heard the bait coming
