  1. Lol true. Really, other then the game against the flyers, the leafs have outplayed their opponent. They've been gettin chances, just not being able to beat the goalies
  2. Lol funny how when the leafs lose a few and habs win a few, the "fans" come out to chirp. But when the habs spiral down and leafs start to win again, they will be nowhere to be found! Also, how come u all pay more attention to a team u hate then ur own??
  3. Perhaps the leafs should keep their feet moving all game, forecheck the hell outta their oponent like they did the 1st 5 games. Short quick passes up ice instead of tryin for the long stretch pass. Send grabovski to the marlies and bring up a bucket of pucks for that useless waste of ice time and trade kaberle for anythin someone will give u for the biggest defensive liability on the leafs and worst player on the ice each game this season
  4. missing versteeg and armstrong in the lineup is very noticeable. caputi is playing well though. still stings to see how bad u can outplay a team and still be on the wrong side of the scoreboard. and the first goal, there was some karma from the non call on colton orr last game, that was a horrible interference call. on a side note, i cant wait to see kaberle and grabavski GONE! kaberle has not played well at all this year. his defensive zone play has been horrendous. grabovski... well, he just flat out sucks and has since the leafs picked him up. lebda again continues to disappoint.
  5. What they did is an amazing feat!! To do it on such a larhge scale too!! Amazing! Congrats to them!
  6. fishing world and bills bait both sell them. u can rig them on a regular hook with a split shot under a float, u can get small tube jigs, same as u get for bass, just very small for micro tubes, or, and the way i usually rig them, a small round jig, 1/16th or 1/32 and just run it on the hook shank the same way u would a grub or twister tail.
  7. A players value isn't always measured by goals, assists and points. and to whoever mentioned moving versteeg to the second line "if his play doesn't improve" are u serious? Do u watch hockey at all?? He's been one of the best players on the ice each nite. He's creating turnovers and scoring chances. His goals will come, don't worry about that
  8. spiderwire stealth braid, 10-80lb for bass rods, seaguar flouro for leaders, berkley 100% flouro 8-15lb for dropshot and crankbaits
  9. 7'2" rod is fine. i use 30lb spiderwire braid. line is still small in diameter, cast far, has no stretch, comes through the water good and when casting near weeds u can rip it through the weeds with ease.
  10. i have the fuji Z33 and its a good camera. lots of setting to play with, but easy to use and takes good pictures.
  11. thats what being a leafs fan is all about!!! lol im a die hard leafs fan... have been my whole life. this is one of the best looking teams ive seen in a loooooong time. the only fans that can talk playoofs and be made fun of, are leafs fans. if it was someone talkin about montreal, or ottawa or any other team in the league, there would be nuthin. ppl like to bash the leafs. it happens. fact of the matter is, through the first 3 games... they have been the best looking team in the NHL and theres no reason why that trend wont continue all season long. they have a good, young, fast, skilled group of players, one mean looking defence and 2 goalies who can play and steal a game away. so, all u others, keep making fun... except for u habs and sens fans... win a game or 2 first, then talk trash.
  12. i used the mojo rods all of last year before switching to a new sponsor rod company. the mojo's are excellant rods, i had 4 or 5 of them, and still have one that i use from time to time.
  13. Where are u going and are u targeting largies or smallies?
  14. Perch, crappie, bluegills pike, walleye, trout
  15. quantum energy is a sick reel. but u could get the kinetic PT20 for about 100 bucks and its a solid reel. very light, well made, great drag system on it. service is excellant with them too should u ever have a problem. oh, and with quantum PT reels... there is no spring in the bail arm to fail on u!
  16. yup, what he said! but its not likely they would move too much anyways. best thing is to get a couple rod straps and fasten all the rods together, less likely to move then... strength in numbers. just dont put anythin in the back with them that could slide and break the rods... made that boo boo before and broke my favorite little panfish rod :'( lol
  17. i love that show. my gf still holds firm i could beat most of the challenges he does! lol, i wanna go to florida and get them "fire in your hole" wings!! lol
  18. thanks shaun! i joined up. sucks about the sponsor, but glad to hear ur working through it and pushing forward with season 3! all the best bud!
  19. dude, what happpened to the show?? used to love watching it! was always great to see places so close to home and the way u showed what great angling opportunities were in our back yards!
  20. he was found in the welland canal near the allanburg bridge.
  21. its not a true blue. but any walleye could potentially have blue coloring to it. just has to do with the color pigments in the slime of the fish. still a beauty fish none the less!
  22. have u pulled it completely apart and cleaned it out? could be some dirt inside the gears or the shaft area causing it to stick a little. best bet, do a complete tear down and clean each piece thoroughly and re-assemble and grease/oil accordingly. make sure not to over lube the reel. lots of sites online to help with the procedure.
  23. thanks! appreciate the help
