  1. WTG! you guys must of had the hot spot. I got 2 for my efforts and my neighbour got about a dozen. At least you guys did London proud! I did get to try out my FISHTV underwater camera. It more than made up for my poor showing. It's amazing how many pickups you miss without it. Fish would suck it in and spit it out before you know it, grab the minnow by the tail when you hook it by the head or back. Most times you don't even see the rod tip move. jjcanoe
  2. I'll be putting this theory to the test again tomorrow (Sunday morn) out of Gilford jjcanoe
  3. Hope it didn't get ya with the spines! jjcanoe
  4. We wanted to upgrade from dial-up (free through work) and looked around for some deals and then we called Bell and and told them we didn't want to pay 49.99/month for hi speed since there are others offering it in our area for around $35/month and as longtime customers what would they do for us. Guess what they said. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Thanks for your business all those years and hi speed will cost $26/m for the first 6 months and then $35/m after that. Until when we asked? For as long as you want it said the bell rep. Great send us the modem to..... Moral of the story, companies will reward loyal customers. Just my $.02 jjcanoe
  5. I've sent a number of Berkly lightning rods back for replacement for only the cost of a few $$$ worth of stamps on the box. They were replaced no questions asked jjcanoe
  6. Holy Cr@p what kind of hippy juice is your employee drinking? Tell him to leave for work 35 minutes earlier and then he will make it on time. I average 53 hours a week and can count on one hand and have several finger left over the number of times I have missed a delivery in the past 8 years. jjcanoe

  13. Any kind of medium or large sized streamers work great for me. jjcanoe
  14. I've been using some of the heavier test superbraid lines as a leader. They cast a lot nicer than wire leaders, and are a lot less visible. Very rare to have a bite off as well. jjcanoe
  15. You'll need 12 volts so the easiest thing would be to pick up one of those emergency power packs They are also handy to have if you car won't start after a long day on the ice This is all assuming that you have a car lighter adapter for your radio jjcanoe
  16. They've said the same about Sundin for years as well. jjcanoe

  19. Wasn't going to shovel today since it's supposed to rain and get warm today but the weather channel says it all might freeze solid overnight. D'oh! jjcanoe

  25. I've got a conservation area with 2 ponds (actually kettle lakes) at the end of my street so I'm guessing thats where all the critters are hanging out when they're not passing through my yard. Poor Slowpoke lives at the other end of the ponds but to get to his place the critters have to cross a busy road, (and there's no animal crossing signs to help them out ) jjcanoe
