Headed up to sudbury in the big truck tonight. Is there any where to pull off and cast a few right along the hwy for an hour or two?? Remember I have about 75 feet of vehicle so I have to be picky about where I can park safely. A wide shoulder or pullout would be best.
I had heard a rumour that there was truck parking available @ the G2G at Lakeair this year but I think that was just a rumour?!?!?!? Regular hwy side parking would work better for me!
Thanks

Chicken light for your boat trailer Brian???? but I guess you can't put them on your daycab I rewired my whole trailer and added two light bars with leds as well as side marker /turnsignal leds all for less than $100 and most of the stuff was bought at Princess Auto. Check my trailer out some time this weekend, I'll even help you out installing things.

Just spent the weekend at Depot Lakes Conservation area. Depot Lakes They have a mainland campground and another 20 boat/canoe access sites. Pretty nice place with 3 lakes and good bass fishing and pike and walleye as well. Only got in about an hour of fishing since we were up that way looking at some properties, but I got a few small sm bass and one sm that tipped the scales at 2.5 lbs not bad for not knowing the lake.
You could also try out this place Pineridge Resort I've been going there since I was a kid and both my personal best large and small mouth are from that lakeas well as cottages they also have a campground. I'll be up there the last week of August with the family.

Thanks Jedi I'll look into that one, but I'm building a deck that weekend as well so it might be a bit tight, If you hear of any others let me know.
Thanks,

Does anyone know if there are any kids fishing derbies around SW Ontario that aren't happening on the family fishing weekend? We have to go to a wedding out of town that weekend so my son will miss out on most of the kids derbies (not to mention a soccer tourney/funday, and his friends birthday)
We live in London but are willing to travel an hour or two.
Thanks in advance,
jjcanoe & jjcanoe jr.
Used to go below the dam a lot for pike but one year I saw about a million perch down there all about 4 inches long. Didn't catch any pike that day down there.

Italy is way to slow to keep up with a fast team the Dutch ran circles around them. France looked like it didn't want to be there today. I'm Italian and don't think they will get past a good team like Spain.

Theres only a few cold water stream down here in the banana belt that we can release them in. Anything above Fanshawe dam or Hunts dam is verboten since these are VHS barriers

Being married to a Dutch woman has taucht me a few things, don't ask how I know all this....
a 'pot' in Holland is slang for a lesbian, a 'dike' is also a lesbian and a woman can be a lesbian!
oh yeah, !Hup Holland Hup!

we've been trying secure an egg source for our walleye hatchery for years but can't get approval from the LEMU. Used to get them from the Dunnville club but all of a sudden the Grand river walleye and the Thames river walleye are a different strain of fish, even though we stocked Grand R fish for years in the Thames
