I had big issues when I first starting to use a centerpin. I was holding it like I would if I were vertical fishing for pickerel Didn't take long for my wrist to really start to ache. After a few pointers from a seasoned pinner, no more issues. Like Drifter said, I usually stick the butt into my side and use some leverage instead of holding the entire weight of the setup.

As long as it's a manufacturer warranty, and not 3rd party then yes. 3rd party warranties are garbage. $1000 for a window switch? Are you driving a Maserati?

For small streams chasing brookies and browns and some juvenile rainbows, nothing beats a UL rod (6'6 or shorter), 4lb mono and a smallish spinning reel (750 series Shimano would come to mind) Get an assortment of #0 and #1 spinners and have a blast...

Right now shipping and exchange get rid of any savings you get on the retail price. Now, if you had a place in the US that you visited frequently and shipping/duty weren't and issue, then it might work out for you.

How is a hookset with a snell knot, any different then say an improved clinch or Trilene?

Is yours diluted? I've had a bottle out in the garage for a few weeks, it hasn't frozen yet.

I use the palomar knot when dropshotting also. I don't think I've ever used a snell for anything.

Well seeing that 90% of your windshield washer fluid ends up on your roof anyhow, I am sure the paint would be fine lol Anything that doesn't freeze will work really, you could spray Windex on it if you wanted. Chapstick also works good!!!

I think for overall coverage in Ontario, The Navionics Gold+ map can't be beat. We picked that up for our Eagle Intellimap 500C Chartplotter and it's been awesome... (I dunno if it's helped catch anymore fish, but it's fun to look at!! lol) I might add, that it's extremely accurate. I know some people have had issue with the HotMap chips being off quite a bit.
