    Good job Jack!!!!
  3. Push it a little more and catch smallmouth also
  4. That is pretty much it... Trade in your reel for $10 or something and put that against a new overpriced reel!! Sounds like a bargain to me, lol
  5. This should would be a whole lot better if there were lots of strippers
  6. By looking at the flow charts I would still say it's somewhat blown.
  7. A 200k fine for what? lol
  8. Great, higher prices..... Exactly what everyone needs.
  9. Thanks bud, it doesn't seem like a very complicated fix, it will just take some time and I'm sure I'll get dirty.. I'll probably drain the trans beforehand anyhow, good excuse to drop the pan and swap the trans filter.
  10. It was certified, perhaps I'll have a case!! Darrell, I'd hope you'd reply. I'm sure you've done this job before, any tips?
  11. Good job lew!!!!! That's a nice machine.
  12. I'll be calling tomorrowm but I'm not holding my breath.
  13. I use 10lb Siglon V Ultra green along with 5.5lb Raven flouro leader. It's all personal preference. I also used the high vis Siglon and had zero issues... When the water isn't very clear, I use Maxima 6lb for my leader.
  14. It will be fine in 2wd as long as I keep an eye on the tranny fluid level. Won't be using 4wd until it's fixed. Should be sometime this week hopefully, just need to order the seal from the dealer along with other misc parts (gaskets, etc etc)
  15. Well I decided to change the fluids in the '03 S10 ZR2 I picked up last week. Front/rear diff, t-case, engine etc etc. On the way to my buddies house I decided to hit a dirt road and get the diffs nice and warm by using the 4wd Well, after about 5 mins I noticed quite a bit of smoke out the back. I switched off the 4wd and the smoke disappeared.. Neato.. Continued on to my buddies house, got under the truck and noticed all kinds of oil on the underside of the truck. Checked the oil level in the engine and tranny and they were fine. (I should have checked the tranny level with the truck running, but didn't) There is a vent on the t-case which was spewing fluid all over the place. There is also a problem with a vacuum sensor on the t-case which I thought was the problem. After doing a bit of reading it wasn't, but I did however figure out what was the problem. A seal inbetween the tranny and tcase is shot, which is filling up the tcase with ATF and spewing out the vent hole. From what I've read this isn't an uncommon issue.. Kinda crappy after only picking up the truck last tuesday and maybe putting 400km's on it, but I guess that's how the dice roll. I'll give the place I bought it from a call Tuesday, but I don't expect much if anything at all. I've done a lot more complicated work on my Jetta, so a tcase doesn't sound to bad at all. Lets hope it all goes well!!!
  16. If you pull infront of someone doing a good 20mph more then you, you better expect to get spun out. Stupid move on both parties if you ask me. What's worse is they ended the race after 5 mins of hardly any rain?? GROW SOME SACK NASCAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible ending.
  17. Rainbow sports is kinda small though. I'd hit Gander... It's huge and has all kinds of fun stuff
  18. Only thing I don't like about the Ridgeline are the high bed sides and that fact that you cannot lock in 4wd.. My brother in law has one, he's had zero issues with it since new..
  19. If he has shooting pains down his legs, he's pinched his sciatic nerve. Happened to me back in my motocross days when I was landing on bent foot pegs.. Worst pain ever.. He needs to get to a chiro and get the muscles around the sciatic loosened up.
  20. This post is worthless without pics
  21. I have Dick Pearsons - Muskie on the Shield. If you are musky newb, this book is a must read. I'd like to see that Swimbait DVD to tell you the truth!
  22. Yup, 6am... I've gone there for early morning trout spinner fixes a few time (Although pricey!)
  23. Braid has a tendency to slip on the spool.. Adding a bit of mono backing will prevent it.
  24. I think everything in Southern Ontario will be blown out... I can't imagine what the Geen look like, or the Notty for that matter.
  25. 60lb braid on a spinning reel is useless...
