  1. Get out there and figure out what works. It can change daily.
  2. Early fall hardware can definitely be the ticket when the water is still a bit warm. Once the cold gets here nothing beats nasty jam bags. I like running jigs as well, but only in certain rivers.
  3. Wow Johnny I really appreciate it man! Everytime I look at them, I always pick out the flaws (Also if anyone is wondering, I gill hooked that brookie about 30mins before.. It was under 22inches so it had to go back. I tried to revive it for at least 30mins and it just wouldn't make it. I had my oldman drive the boat around with me hanging over the side trying to revive it... I still feel bad about it, lol)
  4. Finally got to take some shots with my new Canon 60D out in the middle of nowhere! Some of you might have seen a few of these on the main forum, but I'd love some feedback from some of the pros. The live action shots of the eagel grabbing the brookie are probably my fav. 5. Raf, that's a great pic man! Keep at it! I've tried to capture a few night sequences but they seem super grainy even @ ISO100.. I'll post some up from my recent Nipigon trip.
  6. Tell them to talk to the house owner that gave you permission.
  7. Topwater walleye, first I've seen of that! lol
  8. LOL!!! I've made an effort this year to keep the grass under control! Although let's hope it doesn't get warm and rain much in the next two months, cause I won't have the time
  9. I was out in a 52ft charter boat Sat morning on Lake Ontario, the waves were insane. That east wind that the lake whipped up like crazy. He canceled his afternoon charter, lol.
  10. If it's a private lake, I'm surprised you're not required to have a resident in the boat (Or be directly related to) Even if they call the cops, they won't come, lol.
  11. Awesome pics Dan! Looks like all that crap weather just doesn't wanna leave!
  12. Chris, I just got a Goodlife membership! If you ever need a workout partner let me know. It was also great to talk to someone about cars that got as excited about them as I did Like I said before, don't be a stranger. You've got my cell/address.
  13. Make sure you're using barbless hooks and practice catch and release. A temp gauge is also a great thing to have. If it's close to 70 degrees, you'll be doing more harm then good even if you release them.
  14. Adam makes some great stuff!
  15. I'd get a shop that specializes in bamboo flyrods to take a look at it. I'm sure there are more then a few qualified places in southern Ontario that would be able to help you out.
  16. Chris, tough decision man. Don't be a stranger though, you know where I live
  17. Most likely a tierod if the spare tire is shredded only after 80kms.. You definitely need to park it until it's fixed. Tierods are fairly simple to swap out.. Although if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself, definitely get a mechanic to give it a once over to see what else might be messed up under there.
  18. 8' 4wt.. You can toss streamers or dries with this setup.
  19. Eh, there isn't much south of the border that can even hold a candle to a Notty or Saugeen fish. Now, if you're into cookie cutter stockers, then yeah the US is a great place to fish, lol.
