    Roe

No need to cure it, just tie it up and you're golden.
  2. Appreciate it Dan!
  3. I like slow rods (Loomis IM6, IMX, Sage GSII, etc) they suit my style (I like to rip the fishes face off with the hookset) But again I've fished a few XST's and CTS's and enjoy them as well. Although I think I enjoyed the lightness more then the snappy fast action.
  4. GLX prototype + Clough Elite! There ya go, no one can argue that, lol! Rods and reels are all personal preference, everyone will have a different opinion.
  5. Not my reel
  6. Absolutely love steelheading, my latest addiction is capturing them so I can look back and relive those special moments over and over. I think I'll be making a new lens purchase in the near future (24-70) which should be lots of fun! All these were taken with a Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM.. Easily one of my favourite lenses!!! GBay Steel. Some Frogwater porn. Another Gbay beauty. Some Huron action. ..and finally I step out from behind the camera and into the limelight, lol. This thing was a cow!!!!
  7. Speaking of Tim Hortons, we should get them to be one of the sponsers for the Fishing for Tyler even this year. I'm sure they'd be up for it.
  8. You drive your ATV under 10ft of water? That must be a site to see.
  9. I like the fly guys who stand in the middle of the run tossing shot and egg sucking leeches under strike indicators. If that's not purist fly fishing, I dunno what is :)
  10. I've guessing solenoid as well.
  11. Wait, weren't you PS'ing out the backgrounds in your ice fishing pics last year? :)
  12. ^--- Now THAT looks like a lot of fun!! Only cool thing I've done with whitefish is catch them on a dry fly (Which I guess is pretty awesome considering they usually live in the deep stuff)
  13. Best suit out there.. I wish it was a XXL and I wouldn't have sold it!!!
  14. Dave, you should have stuck around in Alaska for another month
  15. If you are going for work make sure you get something from your HR department at work. They'll be able to whip something up for you that will cause zero hassles at the border.
  16. Wow man, that's insane!!!! Mind if I ask how you met him?
  17. I need to make something like this for my sled. But it's gotta hold my rods, my finder and my auger
  18. I was going to say, a small roe bag or even singles in gin clear water would most likely be very effective.
  19. I wonder if they have cheap gas up in Rama. I should take a drive.
  20. Wow, where the hell did you find this? I paid $1.32 the other day.
  21. The Pack comes with everything to hook up your graph up, except the transducer and transducer wire. (All wires to the battery, mount, charger, etc etc)
  22. Frank, I have the Nanok which is a bit cramped for two big dudes, but they do make a bigger model (I forget the name).. You can't beat it for the portability and ease of setup. I also got the insulated model, you don't even need a heater!
  23. The portable ice pack doesn't come with a transducer.. Only the pack itself, the battery and the charger. Transducer you'll need depending on your unit. http://store.humminbird.com/products/314001/XI_9_20 The pack you'll need. http://store.humminbird.com/products/322965/PTC_U I have both of these and ran my 747c last year out on Simcoe, this year I'll be running the same pack/transducer with my 788ci.
  24. Dan, think about a Clam... Up and done in seconds compared to that one you posted. Nothing to bolt down...
  25. Time to cash in those checks!!! Happy Birthday bud!
