  1. His wife made him put away the computer until the glass is cleaned up
  2. A de-thatcher would work great on the grass to get all the glass off it.
  3. A small 3.5in centerpin sounds like the ticket.
  4. I'd buy a previous gen Tahoe/Suburban (short wheelbase if the fullsize is too big)... The 350 and 4L80E is a bulletproof drive train. More room then anything else mentioned in this thread, real 4x4 and get's 20mpg... Also parts are dirty cheap, you ALWAYS need more room then you think
  5. I am going to put the hurt to the splake population this winter! (However tomorrow it will be the steelhead )
  6. I have a set of Simms G3's... I know all about breathables.. What I'm saying is, if he had a hole on the top of his toe, it's got nothing to do with if the waders were breathables or not.. They all have neoprene booties....
  7. That works. I know I wouldn't wait long at all if there was glass littered across my property...
  8. Neoprene are great in the winter. The breathables have neoprene booties anyhow, so I'm failing to see how a set of breathables would have worked any better in this situation...
  9. I find it odd the owner never actually checked the work before he took the boat from the dealer. I knew he said he was in a hurry, but that would have taken 30 seconds. If he wasn't happy with it, he doesn't pay until he gets what he paid for.
  10. You'll be waiting a long time if you wait for your neighbours insurance company to clean it up... Do it yourself, then submit a claim for hours worked.
  11. The Catt has some absolute cows in it.... A buddy of mine put one on the bank easily over 10lbs. Thought it was a carp at first and wanted to break it off, lol!!!
  12. That thing has gotta be pushing 40 inches.... God lord I need to catch one of those monsters.
  13. Lew, when the buyer doesn't mention your item specifically, and just refers to it as 'the item' or something similar. It's an absolute scam.... I use Paypal all the time and have never had an issue, but never for big ticket items (My biggest purchase using it was just under $1000)...
  14. Glad to here your dog is doing ok, that other one deserves a bullet between the eyes.
  15. I'm sure my post will be removed, but just a little common sense goes a long way..
  16. I can't imagine how I've smashed whities over the years with just a crappy LCD, I guess I'm just lucky
  17. I've had my Humminbird 747c out on some pretty cold days.. Only thing I've noticed is the battery draining a bit faster then normal.. It's seen -20 on more then a few occasions.
  18. I've never seen a LCD with a delay of any kind while on the ice. Even the lower end units.
  19. Buy a normal fish finder instead, a lot easier to read
  20. Saltydawg Absolutely. 99% of my whitie and laker catches are on the take (Meaning I'm coaxing the fish up from the bottom).... I've had lakers hit 10ft below the hole coming out of 100ft of water. Same goes with the whities, it's usually at least 20-30ft off bottom when they hammer my spoon. Can't do that without a finder When I think about it, I can't believe I even wasted time ice fishing for whities/lakers without one. Sure you'll have lucky days when the fish are hot, but that's not usually the case.
  21. Fill them up completely with water, lol.
  22. I want it for something other then ice fishing, lol... I might have to keep my eye open for one.
