  1. I've got the 62s, 2gig of internal memory is more then enough for me.
  2. Not fishing anywhere, picking up a Yamaha T8 High Thrust for the Lund!!
  3. My oldman used nothing but Ande and Trilene Big Game back in the day. I think we've still got one of those 3000yrd spools of Big Game downstairs.. Actually used it last August.. No issues at all.
  4. Most guys have been getting them in shallow, lots of dinks though.
  5. I've been itching to get out as well.. Gotta wait another month! Ah well, perch will keep my occupied I'm sure.
  6. They are closed until the second Sat in May. Read the regs man.
  7. They've gotta catch you fishing, nothing illegal about motoring through sanctuary water.
  8. I don't think there's anything illegal with walking through a sanctuary with your gear to get to an open section of river.
  9. BB, there's no help for you :sarcasm:
  10. It's been discussed to length already don't you think?
  11. Why are you worried about getting charged with taking a pic of a in season fish? Less worrying, more fishing.
  12. I could see the CO get on someone for taking a pic of a OOS fish, but not one that's in season and out of the slot.. That seems a bit silly.
  13. I don't think I said anything about harming the fish, I was speaking from a strictly legal standpoint.
  14. One can be legally angled for, the other can't. You don't see a difference? As far as taking pics of OOS fish? Not my cup of tea, but whatever floats your boat. I hope you aren't counting those as PB's, lol!
  15. Why are you comparing a OOS fish with one that's in season but out of the slot? One is legal to fish for, the other isn't.. Doesn't get much simpler then that.
  16. Bill Dance with the shin guard hitting the receiver? I thought it was funny when I was 10, lol.
  17. Why would it be frowned upon to measure it? How else are you supposed to know if it's in the slot or not? I can't understand why people make such simple things so complicated.. People need to stop thinking the CO's are out to get them...
  18. Speaking of batteries, any of you guys run your kicker and main motor off the same battery?
  19. Only saw 44 degree water last weekend up my way, you aren't missing anything yet! lol
  20. In the below zero temps you'll wanna stick with mono over braid.
  21. Can't do much about OOS fish, especially when you are fishing patterns that are very similar to musky. I catch the odd smallie and largemouth when the pike opener arrives. However I'm usually fishing weedlines and edges. Bass don't spawn on weed edges so they've either already done there thing and are out to feed or they haven't even started yet. Regardless they are released as soon as they are caught, no pics, etc... Now there are guys out there (I see them every year) fishing/pitching docks on the pike opener... Wanna guess at what they are fishing for?
  22. I've got a 65lb Minn Kota upfront running off of 2, 12V batteries in parallel (Although I think a Terrova is in my near future) Humminbird 747c upfront as well running off one of the trolling batteries.. 2 bank charger for both of those as well.. Rear battery runs all the electronics on the console, big motor, dual Scotty 1106s and will run the Yamaha High Thrust T8 kicker once it's installed. I've got an extra spot in the rear for another battery that I might install, so 4 total in the boat, lol.
  23. Used to absolutely SLAM them in Hay Bay during the opener.. Although it's got a lot more weeds then it used to. Nothing but trolling harnesses for us.. Simple stuff.
