    Why bother? I would guess because of the 10% ethanol that's now in our gasoline unless you're using premium.. It's a $8 filter you swap out once a year and a 20min install, why would you even take the chance?

    You must actually work on the road crew to be defending the 427, lol! The 403/401 route is 100% better.

    The 427 is crap, I don't think they've done road maintenance to that thing for 20 years.. I'd take QEW/403/401/400N..

    Buy a small Honda generator and put it in the boat and let it run until it dies. That's what we do a few times a year when we are in the middle of nowhere and we've gotta charge the batteries.. Quiet as well.

    I was catching them on 12-18ft edges when the water was in the mid 70's.... I imagine it's a lot warmer now.

    The Berkley PowerBait Crappie tubes are killer for any panfish...

    Why not clean fish at the launch? Better then stinking up your livewell, lol.. Also, cleaning stations are a great place to get roe later in the season.
