  1. Sounds like a death wish to me.. Goodluck! lol
  2. 54in and 59lbs? That thing must have had a girth of like 30 inches!
  3. Ahhh..... then the trip costs increase! LOL!
  4. There's a dozen giant trout heads in lew's down spout, Mike and I had bets on how long it would take a bear to rip it apart :)
  5. Al, cheapest thing to do is drive over to Buffalo, get new tires installed and drive back. Even with the price of the trip, it will be lower then buying them over here.
  6. Maybe there was a steak in there?
  7. Depends on the Walmart.
  8. Lots and lots of parking down there.. No need to park at the launch if you don't have a boat. I would suggest parking across the street in the big gravel lot.
  9. Tyler, looks like some killer trips! I still need to make it up there for some damn Atlantics, lol!
  10. 2 stroke or 4 stroke? If 4 stroke, you need to make sure it's laid down properly so the engine oil doesn't make it into the top end.
  11. You'll need to define 'private water' a bit better. If it's a private pond, completely surrounded by private land and there are no outflows or inflows, then no fishing license is required.. If it's a section of stream for example where the owner has streambed rights (or similar) then all normal fishing regulations apply.
  12. I rarely make it down to the bottom end
  13. Buzzbaits are not illegal. Are you talking private ponds or just fishing on private property?
  14. Bingo.
  15. I think that might be your problem, lol. Use them everywhere.. Rock points, shoals, dropoffs, open water etc... I can't count the number of big smallies I've got on spinnerbaits in the late summer fishing deeper humps in 20-30ft of water.
  16. That last splake is awesome!
  17. Sounds like you aren't fishing spots that are conducive to spinnerbait fishing.
  18. You caught this salmon where? Lake O? If so, I doubt that was a Lake M fish.
  19. 40lb GBay chromers full of gobies! Should be fun
  20. Have seen lots and lots of boots this year.
  21. Not much fast water in that river, lol.
  22. Find one that holds line, that's about all they are good for.
  23. Should have shot them all (sans the beaver, lol!)
  24. ....or just looking at the filename of your picture.
  25. Lew, this is why some of us wait for the cold weather of late Oct/Nov to really start hitting the rivers. By that time the salmon are done and are most of the people chasing them. A little courtesy goes a long way on the river, just have a wee bit of respect for your fellow angler and everyone will get a long and have a good time.
