Yeah, I was hoping the winds wouldn't rip apart the ice we had in Kemp last week, but it didn't stand a chance against those crazy winds we had.

Chris, definitely don't be that guy, lol! I'll be very surprised if people are walking out on any part of KBay on the weekend. Winds aren't very conducive for ice making.

Everyone thought the spring would be a slam because of the lack of pressure due to bad ice last year and it wasn't, who knows what those stupid things are up to, lol... We need the winds to stay calm for a few days, even with this cold weather, no ice is going to form with 30km/h winds.. I'm guessing maybe 1st week of Feb if the winds die down.

I'm sure a well armed militia would be beneficial in 1791, but it's 2013... The guys pushing their 2nd amendment rights are as bad as the folks calling for an all out gun ban if you ask me... There's always room for improvement, but on both sides you've got people that aren't willing to budge at all..

Yup, shouldn't take more then a few nights to skim back up... As long as we can get a few inches before the winds pick back up and rip it apart again.

Brian, I can't believe the bay has skimmed over.. That's insane! The only ice I saw yesterday was in the harbour and right by the fountain.. the rest was wide open.
