    Springfield is another company you should try. I can't believe you cannot find a post that's not long enough. I'm 6'3 and I've got an adjustable pedestal post upfront that I actually have to lower because it's too tall on it's highest setting.

    Giving the OP reasons as to why not mounting them on the back deck might not be the best idea (ie if he casts from there when he's not fishing salmon).. No reason for you to get upset about it.

    Lots of people are satisfied with the system as well. I was in and out of Oriliia after I put a hook through my finger in about 30 mins.. This included triage, a short wait in the room and the hook removal. Was back fishing in no time. Where other people there when I got there waiting? You bet.. should they have been there because they've got a cold or their kid has the flu? Probably not, so go figure they wait.

    Yup, you're right if they want to be in the playoffs it will be up to them.. Boston was the big hurdle, now they've just gotta play hard smart hockey until the end. Where ever the dice fall when it's all said and done, who knows.

    Depends on the road, township, etc.. I wouldn't be parking on the side of a highway however.

    This is what the Leafs did good in the previous few months.. Higher shot on net count, but scoring chances were low. As of late, well we all know what happened. This is why shots on net doesn't mean bunk if there isn't much of a chance for that puck to go in the net. I'd also like to thank Chicago for the win lastnight!!!!!!

    If people stopped using the ER as their personal Dr, the wait times would be drastically reduced. Also, if you are waiting for hours, then you are low on the priority list and need to question if you even need to be there.

    You read my mind Bunk! I had plans to fly up to T-bay and do the exact same thing this year until my buddy got sick and that was it. Next year for sure!! I've been dreaming of ice fishing that lake for a while now Surprised you didn't get into any whitefish!

    It absolutely matters where it's from, lol. You think a softy from the boards is the same as a boomer from 12ft out? Still counts as a shot on net.. This is why scoring chances makes a lot more sense...

    Heard the mudline is quite big and the water temps are just above freezing.. A few guys on spoonpullers have been out and skunked. I'd be waiting if it were me.

    I mounted the plates for our Scotty 1106's on the gunwale right where the floor ends (So you can still stand and do what you need to do).. They also pivot, so docks are a non issue. Mounting plates on the back deck would drive me crazy during bass season when I'm standing back there casting. If I could do it again, I'd probably run a track system like everyone has mentioned.. Give you the most adjustability out of anything.

    40 shots from the boards isn't the same as 40 shots from the top of the circle. Big big difference. D has collapsed, now all these crappy chances are now good chances. Scoring chances is the stat people should be looking at.
