  1. It doesn't add up at all really. Muskie get more respect on the water then anything else out there (which is a good thing) but some people need to be reeled in here a bit. It's a fish.
  2. Kadri had 50 points last season. Do any of the haters bother to look up facts? I'm guessing no(this being his first full 80 game season as well). Can't wait for this season!

Not bad for ISO6400 at all! I've got a fox den i need to check out one morning. All kinds of cute little critters running around.
  4. No stocking goes on at all in this river. The Township of Essa is one of the biggest supporters of the Nottawasga Steelheaders. They've donated a lot of $$$ which goes towards stream rehab and also scale sampling programs that we are doing with the MNR. You've got a choice though to fish this water or not. I personally don't.
  5. Anyone know where I can get some Moonshine casting spoons around the Barrie area?

What about trembley's in orillia? I'm not from there but I've been there once or twice. it seemed like a decent store.

  6. I think you'll have a lot of fun this fall!
  7. Barometer is dropping due to the storm on it's way, perfect night to get out fishing!! Good job!
  8. PB laker throught the ice, PB spec (maybe, I should have measured the damn thing), PB smallie a few weeks ago as well (A tad over 6lbs)
  9. Don't forget the 'drop back hole' just up from the Cabbage patch
  10. Freezer hole is one of my favs.
  11. You couldn't pay me to drive a fullsized Japanese truck.. Nothing to do with it being Japanese either, but there isn't much out there that's better then the big 3. Now, mid sized trucks like the Tacoma? Japanese all the way.
  12. Yeah, I wouldn't be greasing anything on a garage door.
  13. Lew, which browser are you using?
  14. I wouldn't trust a cellphone as a GPS device. You should be able to pick up a older colour Garmin (like the GPSMAP 60 CSX for example) for a song. As for a cellphone, what carrier are you with?
  15. Thank you Shimano for the quick turn around on my reel repair! 4 days and back in my hands.

their warranty service is ace, I mailed in a reel and it was back within 4 business days as well

  16. Great lures! I'd put them in a shadow box and make sure they're out on display. :EDIT: bigugli beat me to it
  17. Kinda like our crash standards as well. km/h vs mph. Although now I think they've aligned those for both countries.
  18. It's silly, there should be a standard that meets both US and Canadian certifications.
  19. Dave, I was expecting you to say it started to snow and that the boat was being put away for the season
  20. Adam, the only time you can use a US approved lifejacket and get away with it is if you're visiting Ontario from the US. Here are the rules outlined on the Transport Canada website.
  21. I don't know how much of a laker run Bronte gets, but you'll be wanting to hit the piers with some hardware in the near future. When someone is talking about 50 Point and lakers, they are most likely talking about fishing out in the lake (ie in a boat)
  22. Sounds like a yellow bellied dace although I don't think they get that big. Common creek chub perhaps?
