  1. I used these all last year. I got them from a friend of mine who passed away last fall. Serge!! He swore by them. I used them for Walleye on Quinte. He gave me a few different colors and I still use them. The pink ones are killers on the smallies and Trout. They are better than a real leach. Great drop shotting bait as well. Make sure that bottle stays out of the sun though, they sem to go all weird if not. The walleye love them. Serge gave me a prototype scent that some guy made for him in a bottle that smells something awfull but when put on these, well lets just say the cat is out of the bag. This bait is also deadly for ice fishing as well.
  2. Call Angling Specialaties in Scrborough and talk to George.
  3. I would have to say Stroker all the way.
  4. I'm trying to find directions to the Olympiad in Etobicoke. I think its off Burnamthorpe. I cant seem to be able to find directions there.
  5. Good for you man. Some people dont care about dogs. Good to see that he went to a good home.
  6. I do the run to Cabelas each year. Its like the Lee Valley of Tackle stores. Great deals now as well. Nice family you have. I get a cake from my wife.
  7. I always have. Keeps everything from rusting and makes for a nicer and quicker attachment. Grease keeps everything workin.
  8. Two of my favorite singers. My grandfather would listen to him on the 8 trac, yes the 8 trac. Jim Reeves http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOqdAea0csM Ron Hynes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byQBsH-iQQs
  9. I have been using one for ears. I wouldnt leave home without it. I have the one with a spring as some of them will cause stress on the motor from all that bouncing from the trailer. I bought my latest one at Bass Pro. Other places have them such as Crappy Tire and even Princess Auto. THey are usually around 50-75 bucks.
  10. Doing this will result in a tighter wobble. This works well in hotter weather when you need to burn a bait. However is does hinder the lure action. Try tying a knot such a the Rapala knot. This will act as a split ring and works very well. I use an oval split ring to create a wider wobble in cooler weather. I still have a ton of the old Fenwick Iron silk stuff thats as strong as steel leaders. I would go with Yellowboats material. Seems to be the same as the Fenwick material. Link to the Rapala Knot. http://www.animatedknots.com/rapala/index....imatedknots.com This knot works very well for stickbaits. Make sure you went the line very well before making this knot as it will cause a weak point if not properly tied
  11. First I unpack them all. Upgrade all the hooks unless they are high quality from the start. I personally use the Daichi's and then I put hook guards on all of them. Place them in the corosponding boxes. Label the boxes with a waterproof label. I started using Bullfrog anti-rust emitter strips so there is no moisture in the boxes. When all of this is done I take and catalogue all of them for insurance purposes. I have a very large bait collection now so thats a big factor of mine. I have some swimbaits worth over $150 us right down to the $1.00 baits. Some people collect other stuff, I collect fishing gear. THere are a few guys here that have sen my bait collection and have called m crazy. I have now switched to all the new line of Falcon Tackle storage boxes. They are cheap and store stuff very well. The jig box cant be beat. I also collect lures. I have some over 20 years and till have yet to be opened. The most important thing is to take pics of the stuff each year as you are putting it in the boat or whatever. Insurance companies can be sots when it comes to this stuff.
  12. I'm not trying o start anything here, but we get what we deserve. We are willing to pay whatever they ask us to pay for gas. We can all complain about it but that will get us knowhere. I'm not posting this to be rude to anyone, just my opinion. Unless a large group could get together to boycott the gas companies we should snop complaining and get on with it. People should boycott different gas companies each week and see where it gets us. If people dont want to do something about it then do what I do, pay the price and just go fishing. Nothing we can do about it unless we are willing to take action. Thats my 2 cents worth
  13. Max it out if you can. You can never have enough power. Same like fishin. All you want is that 5 lber and once you get it you want a 6 lber. Addictive.
  14. I like Steam Whistle. Stella Artois,
  15. Might sound cruel but a 10 lb sledge puts them out real quick. Better do that than let the poor animal suffer
  16. Wondering if there is anyone here on the board using these type of swimbaits. If so ow and where are ya throwing them.
  17. I just read my April/May issue of In-Fishermen. Finally a awesome bait by one of our local guys gets some awesome reconigition. I have been using these for Smallies for a while and have had extreme success with them. There is a picture of his hand poured baits next to the big guns baits. Personally I have used alot of these style baits and found Marks to be the best so far. Strike Zone Slammers and Goby. I have been telling guys for over a year now that they are deadly on Walleye as well. Very nice picture of Dave Chong as well. Very Honorable mentions on both guys. Keep up the good work and I look forward to what you will come up with next. Hope you guys break that 30 lb mark next year.

  20. I usually have a bag of Roasted Almonds, water, Some smoked tuna, Practially live off that stuff. I generally eat stuff that does not make me have to go to shore behind some tree.
  21. Jeebus, How the hell do ya keep that slim figure while eating all that stuff.
  22. I have the bass version of the Tracker Walleye boat. The Tracker Avalanche DC. Best one I have owned so far. I have had a few. Warranty is very good. The new manager at Tracker Marine in Vaughan is a real nice guy. I love this boat cause its a little larger and higher that the normal bass boat and handles big water very well.
