  3. I change my cabin filters once a year in both vehicles and never had one collapse and I get them for under $5
  4. Not as easy as most but still doable..........
  5. I guess "Olympic athlete lives don't matter"

  7. Next time someone you know and love is really sick, call a teacher and see how that works out.
  8. That's probably it........but NOT worth the price........IMHO.
  9. Merc outboards unlike Yammy, ETEC and ZUKES do not connect directly to a Lowrance HDS unit. On those non Merc motors all you need is a Engine Interface cable that plugs directly into the motor that runs to the NMEA backbone with of course needs to be powered on it's own. With a Merc you need a special box that Merc was suppose to release back in June. Not sure if that is available. For a diagram look no further then here for running a back bone in your boat...... http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=174227
  10. And as more and more doctors and medical staff move to the USA and the lines get longer to see a doctor, then you will be doing the complaining. But I guess there is no need for a doctor if you already died waiting to see one.
  11. Was it not the liberals that said if Great Britain votes against staying with EU that the stock market would crash and "THE DONALD" said no it wouldn't.........
  12. OOPS............. http://imgur.com/7O0Hd9N
  13. Four walleyes yesterday on old man Erie......
  14. Are you referring to a hemp core cable, because if you are those are dangerous and we almost lost a man because a contractor had them on the job.
  15. Fishing Sunday on Ontario produced 4 kings but none very big........but my daughter in-law wanted salmon steaks and fillets so now she's got them. Erie has been slow..........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  16. Lifted over 50 ton that way and never a break in 30 years.... When pulling with a chain they just break and the broken links fly like a bullet. But using a cable you can see them unraveling for a warning......no warning when a chain breaks.
  17. My new trailer has spring loaded cables instead of chains...... BTW is the chain is a little bit long, just twist the chain to shorten them to the length you desire.
  18. Please post pics..........
  19. I thought 3/4" seemed heavy and would of went with 5/8" if available........but I would rather have the 3/4" then the cheap 1/2" they put in boats.... I have the a new (2015) E-TEC 90 HO on my boat and everyone I take out is really impressed with the outright power it has. So far it's GREAT.......did use a bit of oil during the break-in period, but now it sips it.... If you decide to get any E-TEC buy it during the winter when Evinrude extends their 3 year warranty to 7 years......it's 5 years if purchased in the fall..... And the NO MAINTENANCE for 3 full years or 300 hours is a dream come true... If you get a E-TEC let me know and I'll turn you onto a discount oil place that will save you about $10 per gallon if you buy 6 gallons or more..
  20. Sounds like a good time ho down..........looking forward to seeing you guys again. Going out for salmon tomorrow for a change.........walleyes have scattered on Erie it seems....grrr
  21. 3/4" plywood seems a bit on the HEAVY side for this project.
  22. Had to be someone really stupid to take the chance of getting caught stealing a outboard motor that's 46 years old. Maybe a vintage loving nutcase.....LOL
