  1. Breaking News from Canada The flood of Trump-fearing American liberal Californians sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified beginning early this morning. Trump’s victory is prompting an exodus among left-leaning Americans who fear they'll soon be required to hunt, pray, pay taxes, and live according to the Constitution. Canadian border residents say it's not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, liberal arts majors, global-warming activists, and "green" energy proponents crossing their fields at night. "I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn," said southern Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota. "He was cold, exhausted and hungry, and begged me for a latte and some free-range chicken. In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields, but they just stuck their fingers in their ears and kept coming. Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals just south of the border, pack them into electric cars, and drive them across the border, where they are simply left to fend for themselves after the battery dies. "A lot of these people are not prepared for our rugged conditions," an Alberta border patrolman said. "I found one carload without a single bottle of Perrier water, or any gemelli with shrimp and arugula. All they had was a little Napa Valley cabernet and some kale chips. When liberals are caught, they're sent back across the border, often wailing that they fear persecution from Trump high-hairers. Rumors are circulating about plans being made to build re-education camps where liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer, study the Constitution, and find jobs that actually contribute to the economy. Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage, are buying up all the Barbara Streisand CD's, and are overloading the internet while downloading jazzercise apps to their cell phones. "I really feel sorry for Californian liberals, but the Canadian economy just can't support them," an Ottawa resident said. "After all, how many poli-sci and art-history majors does one country need?"
  2. First take away the internal combustion engine (trying for many years) then it will be the electric car is no good and soon the only legal thing will be a bicycle.........try towing your boat while peddling down the highway........LOL....Not ! ! !
  3. Today's front wheel bearing get a lot more stress then Irish's '69 Dodge Super Bee (BTW nice car, I had '68 RR) because most vehicles are now front wheel drive, thus more wear n tear on those bearings......still not good. However, overall the vehicles of today are SOOOO MUCH better with so much less required maintenance then back in the day. I guess some of you never had to "Tune Up" your car every 12000 miles or SOONER and engines last a LOT longer not to mention body panels that don't rust out in 2-3 years. Today's Vehicles are: * Better * Stronger * Last Longer * Safer * More Comfortable * Cleaner for the Environment * And Cost a Lot More And there is more to come in the future.
  4. The trick sometimes when ordering from Rockauto.com especially if they are air filters OR cabin filters is to keep adding extra filters in the basket until the shipping increases. So for a rough example a cabin filter is $3 but shipping is $5.......add a few more cabin filters until the shipping goes up.......so many times you can get 3-4 filters shipped to you for the same amount as one filter.....and they don't have to be the same filters.
  5. Go to Rockauto.com for ANY auto parts and save a bundle.....plus you have a lot of different grades to choose from when it comes to brakes..........Here are HEAVY DUTY Power Stop parts for both front and rear including both new rotors and new pads all the way around for $356..... Go on Youtube and watch how EASY it is to do this yourself and save about $800..... http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/toyota,2013,4runner,4.0l+v6,1504997,brake/wheel+hub,rotor+&+brake+pad+kit,13824?a=Referer+www.google.com+URL+%2F
  6. BINGO ! ! !
  7. America dodged the bullet because they could of gotten this instead..... http://hillaryugly.com/
  8. Hillary didn't even come out to give a concession speech and to thank her supporters who worked so hard for her. It just goes to show she was just in it for herself and the heck with everyone else. Trump's speech was very gracious even to Hillary and her family. Already it looks like the best man won. God Bless American and maybe Canada can take some clues from this movement.
  9. Why in the heck would someone purchase the best tire available (expensive tires) for a vehicle you are going to be turning in soon. When you purchase said vehicle, I highly doubt you got the best tires available at that time, but rather the most economical tires they could fit on said vehicle.
  10. There is actually no digital antenna to speak of. Rather then having main channels on VHF and sub channels being on UHV like years ago, almost all programming is now on UHF so actually is a better picture but not as strong signal as what we are use to on the VHF side of frequencies. Thus, any antenna will get you the proper reception, however because it's not as strong as years ago, you need a antenna properly aimed if you are far away from the station you are trying to draw in. I use two antennas (pointed in different directions) combined on the roof and then one G-6 coax cable running into the house where it's connected to a amplifier and then to several TV's and a Tivo unit to boot. But if you are close by to your broadcast tower, a simple antenna of any kind will work for the time being. However, you will be limited on how many channels you have to choose from. It's FREE reception and it don't get no better then this.
  11. I have been tying mine for about 40 years now but I have been know to buy them from Cabela's when I run out and don't feel like tying them. http://www.cabelas.ca/search?q=Bucktail+jigs http://www.cabelas.com/browse.cmd?categoryId=734095080&CQ_search=bucktail+jigs&CQ_st=b
  12. OK, but these are still swimming about............
  13. So am I and will match your numbers with mine anytime.
  14. Bingo..........fall fishing has NOTHING to do with fish staging for spawning in 6 months. The walleyes will do different things in different lake all depending on forage of that particular lake in question. Most times after turn over walleyes will be found in deep drop offs feeding on forage which could be miles away from where they will eventually spawn. However, prior to a turn over in early fall, many walleyes are working shallow areas at night frogging.
  15. Yes, let's change this discussion to Canadian politics where it's a much more intelligent conversation......
  16. Uncle Cliff, too bad you didn't land any because I know how much you like them smoked....
  17. Hillary gets Trumped and America survives for another 4 years.........
  18. OMG the fall walleye bite is on....... Busy weekend after all........
  19. I was going to take Lew out fishing, but since he quit I'm just gonna go bowling.........LOL
  20. Sometimes we seen those signs, so we always called it resting in our vehicle officer. I fished all day/night long and don't want to get into a accident on a long ride home. For over 15 years we never had a problem or got kicked out of the parking spot and we did it in a LOT of different launch areas.
  21. Cabela's in my eyes had the VERY BEST customer service in the retail industry..........I only pray that continues because BPS was well below that mark.
  22. We have "rested in our vehicle" (van) for YEARS without any problems, but we always pulled our vans way away from the actual launch area into a corner of the parking lot. Saved LOTS of money on expensive cabins and or tent sites and no reservations ever needed. We came and went as we pleased but always made sure we left the area as clean as we found it, sometimes cleaner.
  23. You sounded a little contradictory and we are just having a little fun at your expense........ You're good to go...........
  24. Yep, to say the least............me think someone is hitting the hard stuff early....
  25. After reading the 2 above posts I am dumbfounded and speechless.........what the hell ! ! !
