Hi Guys/Gals, been ages,I have been cleaning up my parents house (Father passed away in Feb) .Ifound a never been used, still in original box with directions and plastic carrying case,Pocket Fisherman.I would like an idea of what it is worth, think I bought it as a Christmas gift for my Dad back in 72/73. No it is NOT for sale, but an honest appraisal would be nice, this is staying in the family, thanks Brian

  11. Sorry to hear the news.I have been off for awhile from work(kidney transplant) and this March they filed for bankrupcy. The secured creditors ie Banks are paid first, unfortunately our company had 2 million in assets, but 8 million in debt. The employees both salaried and union get nothing,no severance,no pay in lieu of notice, no vacation pay,the unsecured creditors, such as suppliers etc, get nothing. So don't waste money on a lawyer to tell you what we wasted money on a lawyer for, just go on with life .I was there 20 yrs time to start fresh, good luck Brian
  12. Brian, good day on the water, next time try Erieau, out sw 10-12 miles,52-60 fow, neighbour went out yesterday,I was too busy and had to cancel, they managed 18 bows and 17 walleye in 4 1/2 hours, fishing is really hot right now, great report and pics, thanks for sharing,Brian P.S. copper spoons *wink*
  13. Have been going to SML for 9 years now,you will not be disappointed, great hosts, great fishing, great mid week fish fry (pot luck). The lake is approx 1 mile wide and 14 miles long, has lgm and smb, pike muskie, and lake trout. We were there July 7-14 and my 7 yr old daughter caught a 4lb 4 oz smb,put the guys to shame in camp. The cottages are clean well kept ,there is a nice little sand beach for swimming. I know garyv goes here as well and he may have some input too. Unlike other lodges those pics have been from the last 10 yrs to present, unlike other places where the pics are 30 yrs old.If your going in Sept, they have a bass tournament on the 8th to raise money for their hatchery and walleye restocking program.Definately a great time to be there, btw the guy with the OFC hat is the owner Bill, hope this helps any other questions please pm me, Brian
