This is a stocked pond these fish have eaten trout chow all their lives . Any way you dont want to catch to many as in these ponds the trout are catch and KEEP and at the prices per inch and I see you trying to save money on boat and fish finder etc. you should hope to NOT CATCH MANY as five of these fish will buy you that watch fish finder easy .. Lures MAY work but these fish will average 1 to 2 pounds , stick to corn ,trout pelets or worms ..This is like fishing in your bath tub , ...

I allso know the Drover Bros used to come in the shop all the time when in T.O. its a small world and yes they love fishing , death metal and salmon fishing can it get any better B , old but not dead ..

I have tried not to open this thread BUT!!! . As a friend of the Berwick's , someone who watched Shayne grow from a baby to a man and now sadly back to baby . No Terry I do not get my info from the papers ,T.V. etc. I got it from Shayne , Charlie and Ruohang , when Shayne came to his friends aid that night the first punches were aimed at him as "What's a good white boy doing out with these ,I will use the word asians , not the word that was used that night . Allso forgotten is Middleton is a pro motocycle racer , one who knows how to handle motor vehicals at high speeds Ruohang was just a scared kid who was trying to ecape a further beating , and poor Shayne was just a great guy out for a nights fishing with his asian buddys .. NOW !!!! . To just put this off as some Drunk kids is to just send a message to all the drunk kids , do what you want a few months in jail is nothing , BUT WHAT ABOUT Shayne's jail . OR his parents , his father is/was a pillar of the community , donateing his time teaching , coaching hockey at our local rink etc. etc. now he spends his time careing for Shayne . With the early showing of 30+ chinnys in close and off the drop no one had to go out very far (not to talk about the stupid cost of gas).. Now with the water all mixed up , its hard to find an area with good water and the bait has scattered, if I have regalar customers and want to make sure of fish i have in the last two weeks gone out to 350-400 feet but not off the credit more over off the islands , water plant .. 25 feet to the flat lines have been bringing in the rainbows in double digets all day .. But if you want a big chinny for the derby fish the drop early morning or east of the bluffs in 80 to 150 in the afternoon , not big on numbers but the biggens are there , scattered tho lots of miles lots of gas BUT !!!! ... tight lines

What a feeling it must have been for the guide , to put a customer onto a fish of that size and than to watch him land it , PRICELESS .... Its a guides dream to have a client land the fish of his life , its why we do it ... Great fish so good to see there is still some of these beasts still out there .. What a beast
