Damn im Agreeing with Billy duhh??? Irish , Toronto city hall for me 1973 ... meet her on a camping trip with a few familys , 3 years of courting than we were married .. never looked back , nor will I ever .. Dude didnt hear anyone saying Pens are not deep , but 97% of the nhl ARE NOT . Leafs with a good coach are one of the better up and comeing teams in the nhl, sorry but its TRUE , best team we have put onto the ice in many years , You talk of pens , WELL coached teams with a little depth will allways be hard to play against , pens ARE WELL coached , they can over come injurys with playing TO A PLAN not just going out there and trying to just out skate the oponents (with crosby and malkin they can ,without they need to stick to the plan, and they do), better to out think them ... We have a team we have a chance BUT WE NEED A COACH ... wheres PUNCH when you need him ..

I really thought with monster getting some wins I would have brought Riem to the marlies and let him play his way into game shape with a few weeks of playing and than brought him back . Maybe they were afraid for his Confidence , but playing when he sat for all that time , what has loseing done for his Confidence , week or two down on the marlies would have let him shake off the cobwebs and get his legs back .. just mho , wilson cant coach , how long can you stay with A guy without a system , leafs win when they play lessor teams and just go and out skate them , well coached teams beat them time and time again . At least I am one who can say I have seen the leafs win 3 cups .. not many here now that can say that and the years pass by ...lol

As the owner of two large dogs , when I took on ownership of these animals I KNEW WHAT I WAS IN FOR . Spent money very early on to have them trained , made sure they went to the dog park and learned to be socialized with other dogs , they are old now , touch wood , in all the time I have owned them , 14+ years ,I never had a problem with them . BUT if either of them ,as much as I love them , ever made a problem I would put them down myselve .You can not bring a large animal into your neiborhood without takeing FULL responsibility for what it does . So sorry to hear this hope all will be well , not saying you want to be a pain , but do not allow this to go unreported . Next time some other dog or some other PERSON , will be killed . I would do all I could to protect your neibors , no way you let this dog and its stupid owner get away with this , this was not an accident , just a loaded gun waiting to go off , today peanut tomorrow Sally down the street .

Solo great kid , kids that fish dont join gangs or hang on street corners , they spend all their money on fishing gear , but steelheaders maybe the crips arnt that bad , teach him to bass fish , now theres a hobbie thats worth while .. lol. Ive been using Fenwick rods on my charter boat for many years because of the spiral guides , never liked the line lieing on the rod , with bait caster reels sitting on top of the rod makes sence to me to have the line on the bottom ..

Might explain rod makers turning away now ,if indead there is a cork shortage , damn wine guys i guess , but like I said I think there is NEW materials now that shead water better , better grip , cork in the cold can I say slippery , and last the new stuff is LONG LASTING , sorry Speil and guys like ya, I will not need you to repair grips with great big pieces missing . Again eatch to his own but I need things that last with much abuse .

Damn Roy just when I was starting to agree with ya (Daiwa) When you have as many rods as I and are stuffing them into lockers storeage boxes etc. 2 or 3 times the Capacity for storeage etc., cork chips , takes in a lot of water when submerged (by accident of course), and does not age well , Im old school and at first was glad to see cork make such a come back , but now looking back I can see why it went away and is now going there again . just me maybe but???

I been a daiwa guy for a long time , the few times that I have had problems with any of their stuff have been treated great , most of the troubles (99%) were my or the person I let use them fault not the products and still theyfixed me up . the 700 whiskers will last for ever with just a little cleaning and a drop or two of oil now and than . All you want in a spinning reel, simple,no fancy gimmicks that will break down on the water , their tough dont explode when dropped , very smooth drag ,and made by a company that stands behind their stuff .

Dude next time you out in the blue do what I do for good long time clients (speaking as one who were one of the first to go there , many 50 /75 fish days, have boated many high teens fish 17 / 18 pounds ), 15 foot rods sorry guys still useing lamiglass (sp), mouching reel ,10 pound line , boat out of gear , lots of fun and none of that river , creek nuttiness. You will never see me as long as I have a 40 foot boat standing in what to they say "FROG WATER" flossing fish . Just my ho , not to step on any ones redd , to many all ready have .... delete this Roy if you must but still I have many guys who love this because of the nonsence that they have found on the tribs . This post is not gonna get me any friends . But I know at least one guy on this board that with his family (dad , granddad etc. put fifty in the boat and lost as many , and never had to fight with some guy who hogged their spot ...
