Did you do the impeller too? I am glad it has a good home, I was kinda sad to see it go, but it should give you years of service. As for the mono behind the prop......Someone else used it last.....Apparently he has his ups and downs I think the oil you drained had 7 hours of service on it.

An inflatable is not considered to be a PFD unless worn. If you have a LEO that wants to give you grief then your best defence is to have a regular PFD within reach while you are fishing. Otherwise keep it (inflatable) on at all times. Not a bad idea when you think about it.

Based on the trim that I can see in the opics, I would judge it to be a early to mid 70's hull. To redo the transom is a big job, but if done will add at least a thousand to the value IMHO The motor is probably worth 700 - 1500- it's old and a fuel hog. The trailer would be worth ~500 on a good day - ownership is easy just re-register as a home-built. This paticular hull is very sought-after as it is proven to be one of the best big-water hulls out there. And the fact that it is setup for an outboard is an advantage as a lot of them were I/O. It is much easier to upgrade your powertrain if it is an out board. I have seen these for as little as $300 and as much as $9000 when I was looking for the bow rider version of this hull. I would be tempted to take on another project, but...

Kudos to the organizers of this event. It is nice to see individuals with special needs able to enjoy the thrill of catching a fish. The funny thing is my wife who is very involved in the care community that surrond this community has not heard very much of this event before.

Congrads paul! You beat me, and I have had my boat a lot longer than you have. Inflatable while standing and casting, good idea, you seem to be losing your natural bouyancy.

Even if you have done everything on this list, and enjoy doing so, your mancard is irrevokeable if you are able to sit by your loved ones and share and support them in thier pain.

If you can successfuly name all the types of makeup, your mancard is revoked.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy the indoor/outdoor carpet for the bunks. It will do the job and you can buy small amounts.

Insure it and have a unfortunate campfire spark..... Or do the right thing and find out if renovations are allowed. Although with gas prices doing what they are doing, the cottage market may dry up.
