  1. She is one TOUGH son of a gun. (No offence Leah)
  2. Good thing it wan't an ugly face competition. I would have won hands down. What was the prize???
  3. We are involved in a situation currently where an individuals mother has passed away, this person is in the care of a another individual who is vacationing with her child. The individual who's mother passed is intelectually handicapped and cannot fly alone. Is there a program that anyone is aware of that a alternate caregiver would be able to fly out and return with the person who needs care at minimal cost? The agency that supports this person does not have the budget to carry the cost of a flight.
  4. It was so hot today our sermon was very short: " If you think it is hot now, just wait"
  5. Well done! Looks like you guys had a blast. Makes me look forward to going out with Pikeslayer next month.
  6. Thanks, you just gave me an idea! Extend my tether and clip it to my beltloop. It is a pain to clip on and off, a 20'er would allow me to move around the boat.
  7. Always ALWAYS wear your tether! Wonderful that it turned out the way it did.
  8. I am afraid you will have to choose between the two, or move the VHF well away from the FF.
  9. I just go for a 40 - 50 mph rip and that cools me down.
  10. I have no problem counting to 21
  11. Beats the heck out of what you had!
  12. OK, now I am looking for volunteers to show me how to do this. I have dipseys, no riggers as my boat is a Ranger bass boat. Send me a PM to set something up. Only condition, my boat and tackle. It won't teach me anything if I go in someone else's equipment, I need to learn what i can do with mine. Forgive the PO'ed tone of this post, I used up a weeks vacation time trying to hook a walleye in Ontario. Had fun doing it, but it wouls have been nice to have had success.
  13. It gave me 2 inch fillets..... Today, once again no success, got close to 20 smallies though, anywhere from 1 - 4 pounds. two for the skillet the rest went back.
  14. No but I may today.
  15. After a week of trying, I am convinced that there are NO pickerel or walleye in Lake Erie. This Ontario skunk is becoming tiresome. Tomorrow is going to be my last kick at the can til August long weekend. Someone Please help me I am at my wits end. I see them stacked like cordwood on the FF drag my lures trough them and no response on any sort. I resorted to dropping a worm harness down 60 feet and all I caught was a goby.
  16. He may have trouble getting re-elected.
  17. I see, siad the blind man to his deaf wife, as he drove to the awards ceremony for thier legless son who had just won a runniing race.
  18. Hey what happened to the pin on this thread?
  19. Thank you for this, extremely poignent.
  20. Welcome to the board, seeing as beagles are dogs; (sort of ), you must be alright. Now if you have Labs, then there would be no question. What type of bow do you shoot?
  21. Well, oPn may have some merit...ontario Pissant network, old people nagging, obstentably precise negativity....the list goes on. Oh, BTW welcome to the board!
  22. The good news is: You won't need the engine for the tourney. I don't know if you were aware but the lake is electric only. The bad news is: I have no idea what to advise you on your engine.
  23. Shouldn't you be on Lake Ontario trolling for salmon?
  24. Single or dual teleflex cable on the motor? A single may not have the strength to hold the motor, and at full throttle can cause a very nasty turn and throw you out of the vessel.
  25. It turned out to be too rough to go out today, so we (my nephew from BC and myself) fished the Grand and came up with two good kitties. 5 and 6 pounds respectivley. He enjoyed himself and got the biggest fish.
