common on this car, make sure the pads havn't been put on backwards(easy check is spare tire will rub if on backwards) also make sure there is no rust under the abutment clips holding the pads to tight other than that , this is common brake wear on these cars

when i switched from dino oil to synthetic in the snowmobile really noticed a difference in performance hardly ever fouled a power valve with the amsoil or blue marble oils. Now everything i own is 4 stroke. just use yamalube in it

While I am not familiar with Simcoe I live on a kawartha lake and the bass and walleye limits seems fine to me, i really don't see anyone keeping 6 anyway, rules and regulations are just worthless paper unless enforeced i would like to see lic. fees raised to say 35 bucks a year, due away with the conservation license and increase mnr presence on the waters. Get the Federal goverment to actually use some common sense in controlling water levels in the trent severn system to allow for more effective spawning of target species, have a all around open season for crappie/perch on all trent waterways (zero fishing at damns) and even possibly rotate winter walleye fishing on the kawarthas. If I can think of anything else I'll be sure to update

comfortable and roomy car, don't buy it though very problematic vehicles and it's 11 years old. suspensions wear prematurely, a/c problems trans problems this car is a complete nugget. something in that size that is reliable and not to pricy would be a buick lesabre, Ford contout/mercury mystique, we call these cars the mercury mistake that should be enough to let you avoid this as well. Is he just looking for a decent cheap car and what price range?
-
actually the offcial thread of spring is "tiller vs console" which was a couple days ago. i never say rapala just buy them, when asked what i am using the answer is usually x-rap, shap rap ect.

as long as i can fish i don't really care who's right, facts and figures can be bent to come to any desired conclulsion

gotta love the oil companys, still around a $1.02 guess the magic gas fairies will bring the price down after march break. almost think this would be classed as collusion, or criminal, cheating, or several other words that start with C , my rant for the day after droppintg $94 bones on fuel

Is it possible to have too much fishing stuff?
ecmilley replied to LeXXington's topic in General Discussion
there's always something -
well Lew I'll chime in on this, as the japanese have increased hp in many of there engine's they have run into the same problem as the big 3 these last couple of years and thats transmission issues, odd electrical issues but all cars on the road built the last 4-5 years are extremley reliable compared to even 1990, the only real issues i have seen with Honda the last couple years is power window's acting up (no one builds trouble free windows anyway) daytime running light issues (90% time burned bulb) the odd one with oil consumption issues, nissan, toyota and honda have seem to developed a problem with brake longevity as well, changing out alot of pads now ar 30-40k when the older versions were 70-90k . The only thing you may want to look into is insurance rates for vehicles they can vary widly from model to model. the civic was in the top 5 for stolen cars.

Heads Up for Hunters and Gun Owners with semi auto long guns
ecmilley replied to Garyv's topic in General Discussion
As far as I am concerned most gun legilation is a knee jerk reaction to appease the general public but in the end has no benefits of increased safety, what is needed is crime control, gun control doesn't work as you will never be removing the weapons from the criminal who will continue to use the black market gun highways from the states. As for justifying the need, the public is pretty much brainwashed on the semi-auto in use by sportsman while the news outlets enjoy showing us photos of ak-47's and M-16's the firearms used for hunting usually hold less than 5 rounds. justifacation of a semi is easy just pull the trigger no fumbling with a pump or a bolt or a lever for that matter, they enable more steady shooting for the average joe (safer shooting) on top of all that they really look no different from any other rifle or shotgun. if i can think of anything else... -
Glad you had fun but the next time bring your own diapers when driving the missle. gotta love the team lund jacket though. and I'll be back at it in about 6 hours...
