  2. i have used walkers and scotty and still prefer big johns once you change for awhile you'll probly be comingback to the big johns

  6. the channel cat was a surprise for sure smashing a shap rap on a drop off
  7. nice when someone does you a favour, but realisticllly the price of the original estmates would likely what she should have paid regardless of the worth of the car, seen some of those ford front pipes are crazy priced but never seen a stang one that was 1700
  8. a 40 hp outboard isn't gonna be using a whole lot of amps to start to begin with, i wouldn't think it would matter either way, use the deep cycle
  9. my expierence with ford products leads me to believe that the sensing wire is corroded(usually a single small wire on the alternator) as a fully charged battery is 12.6-12.8 volts, check and clean this connection. before blowing a 100 bones on a battery
  10. ask fishindevil he knows a dynamite mechanic for your toyota
  11. since I have to walk about 50 ft to catch kawartha eyes and drive several hours for ERie ones I'll pick kawartha
  12. t I think I should bring you my ryobi line trimmer, it's a pia to start and has a small fuel leak last time i used it (2 years ago)
  13. water temps in goose are fairly high, but cliff can elaborate on that, Kennedy bay is a good starting point for ski's and pics lots of irregular bottom structure, i live beside mclarens marina and most of the shorline from there up to emily creek will produce skis off the weed edges, sturgeon point another good area, there is also a public launch in thurstonia /dunsford about a 5 min tin missle ride to emily or kennedy bay, if you show up in dunsford look for the house with a gold truck and a silver tiburon most likely drinking beer on the dock and i can fix you up with a map a nd some other good spots at least on sunday i get to work saturday
  14. Lew I feel your pain I have been using my small 12 ft boat and i get buzzed by skiers and pwc on a regular basis, guess they juast like showing me how cool they can be, also have had to rewire my in lake pump as the buoy that marks it must contain all kinds of fish to jig around
  15. well that explains why you not answering your phone, good luck and outcatch him
  16. hmmm, spinner baits, texas style worms, senko, x-raps fat raps, tubes, twisters then fishcrisp and beer whose coming?
  17. an actual comittment from our federal goverment on military spending to equio our troops with new weapon technologys would go a long way to protecting them
  18. sounds like a coil problem to me as well.
  19. there not gonna help you saturday evening, i am catching all the fish tonight
  20. diawa, abu or shimano are all excellant products and you really can't go wrong with any of them, i prefer shimano, and for the C note area look at a sarhara
  21. same here had very few issues with interstates, since switched to ac/delco (junk) and now selling die-hards the golds are good, i have had a die hard 27 series in my boat 3 seasons now with no problems. As for selecting your batttery get the biggest one you can fit in your battery box, never know when you may need the extra reserve capacity
  22. and next week your running the camera...
  23. most of the cleaners don't really do much when added through the fuel tank, much better off with a proper injection cleaning method like motor-vac carbon cleaning service , and it's preventative maintenance and yes it's around 100 bones but it does work, had many cars pass emission tests after having a motor-vac done
  24. as always a top notch and envious report, good to see your into the bigguns and I'll be out on sturgeon most of the weekend may see ya out there.
  25. the only change I'll be making is to put my camera in a zip lock bag otherwise i'll be fishin as normal
