How's the boat running these days?.. and where are all the Pike and Musky??? Senko's and scum frogs don't sound much like Pike and Musky baits to me!

Forget the Spooks if you spooled with flouro Tom, topwater is the only application where fluro shouldn't be used... it will inhibit the action... I'm serious. I use the arbor knot on all my reels... spinning, baitcasting, deep sea.

I find that the fish will usually be shallower and pretty active if it's just a steady or light rain, unless it's really going to storm... then they'll be cowering in the depths! Checkout their shallow haunts, if they aren't there use your sonar to locate them in the depths.

For the pics, get a photobucket account... much easier than resizing!!! Sounds like a productive trip except for the hooks in the hands. It's better to go ahead and push a hook through and cut off the barb than to snatch it back out. A lot less bleeding and damage, it will also heal much quicker!

Those Jack Crevalles are nicknamed the bulldog of the ocean.. and for a reason!!! The only thing I think that might fight a little harder pound for pound is an Amberjack!!!... those buggars will pull your shoulders out of the sockets!!!

Go to Wal-mart and buy one of the white cutting boards in the kitchen accessories dept, I think they're only 1/2" thick but you can laminate them together with a good glue.

That wobble may be bad bearings...

You can buy a new hub assembly already prepacked for just a little more than your bearings, races, and seal will cost you... lots easier!!! I did mine last year and the hubs were $62 each. Misfish and Sinker are right about your inside seal leaking.

I learned to to do it sailing a Sunfish with my 2 younger brothers and our Border Collie "Pal"! ... never could flip or sink a Boston whaler, but we only had 9.9's on them... Flipped a canoe in N.C. in January, there aint no ice there... but damn that water was COLD!!! I'm a stinkin' ol' fart now and wear my PFD 90% of the time now... figured I lived this long, may as well live a little longer... plus my postings here really irritate the crap out of some folks, and that's what I REALLY live for!!!

In our BBQ joints down here you have a choice, sliced or chopped (Burt is serving chopped) If you go with sliced you have 3 more choices... inside, outside, or mixed!... I choose sliced/mixed!!!
