  2. 5'-10" and 316 lbs. ... you tryin to set a good example for the fish Seaweed?
  3. Google Micropterus punctulatus henshalli... ... not to be confused with Micropterus punctulatus punc!
  4. ...
  5. I like the idea of quitting together, the Thumb Stop will fit your fingers too! The whole idea of "I can bite mine but you can't bite yours" just doesn't seem like a very good example.
  6. We have those all the time down on the Gulf of Mexico in the summer, I've seen 6 and 7 at a time... saw 4 come together to make 1 one time! They are dangerous to small craft and can make it rain fish on dry land!
  7. I'd say that's a two bagger Terry... put one on your head in case hers falls off. She's definately seen better days and needs some work.
  8. ...!
  9. Have you ever heard of a thing called "camera angle"? Holding a fish all the way out at arms length is not the way to take a fish pic with a large fish... if you want folks to believe it's a large fish.
  10. Thats a nice 3 pounder he's got there... what do I win???
  11. I guess that's the price you pay for living where the fish are so plentiful... even if you can't catch them! Come on down South Bubba!... The boat launch is free and ya aint gots to wash yer boat! ... we even catch a fish from time to time! ... personally, I don't think there's that many fish in Quebeck any way...

  13. You don't really want to be that kind of hypocrite do ya 'Bunk? If you're still biting your nails, she learned it from you most likely... and imitating someone she loves, respects, and admires! Punishment is not the way! It will only make her more determined... she'll show you! Rewarding would be better... much better! If you couldn't stop, how do you expect her to? The not biting while you're around prolly takes a lot of will power for her, and having a good chew is prolly one of the first things she does when she's out of your sight. There are people with Turret Syndrome that have learned to control it while out in public, but as soon as they're alone... I say keep up the fear factor to a certain extent, but don't punish her! Wait until you find something she really wants that is borderline out of the question... then use that as the dangling carrot, but not the Disney trip if it has already been spoken about and promised. This is just my $.02

  18. Next time tie a hickory nut on... you might catch a squirrel!!! I usually wrap my line around a full drink bottle or can when I snag, then pull it free.

  20. Dang Lew!!! I'm sure glad everything turned out ok and Miss Diane is recovering!!! Y'all enjoy your vacation and take it easy! ... 30 STEEL STAPLES!!! ... makes my head hurt just thinking about it!!!

  22. Great report and pics!!! Good lookin' fish too! btw... I was reading an article in this months In-Fisherman magazine aboot Wacky riggin', and it mentions putting a small piece of heat shrink tubing over your worm in the middle and heating it with a Bic lighter for a tight fit and added durability.
  23. I think it's probably the fisherman and not the body of water... if you sux at fishin' the Grand, what makes you think you aren't going to sux at fishin' lake O?
  24. Transfer you bait and juice into a more watertight container.
